Thunder m1 or ricochet m1 ?

i did the numbers on thunder and its a 20 damage (per sec) at m3 ricochet is a 32 damage per sec weapon at m3. they both have there advantages but thunder at m0 and m1 is just not worth it. if you are facing off 1 guy and he has rico and you have thunder if the rico guy shoots your corner, you miss one shot the reload time is huge and you just lost but if you shoot his corner and he misses a shot or 2 no big deal he still wins, he can ram your tank you damage your self on every shot he wins again. thunder is not a bad choice it has its limits not good for up close fights or at extream long range

^ Noob. Get some skills with thunder, or don't say anything about it. It's a good gun. My friend got more kills with M0 Thunder than I did with M2 rico in a DM, and no one drugged. Thunders good, don't pick on it. If you hate it, piss off and say nothing :D

Thunder is about camping and tactical splashes. Thunder can even hit where rico can't. Simple skills are required. Yes, I am experienced with these guns, I have M3 of both. Now the thing is, M1 thunder or rico, they both suck. Better saving your crystals and jumping from M0 to M2 at the same time. Just figure the math, and get enough crystals. M1 rico sucks coz its got a 33% chance to do one extra damage then m0  M1 Thunder sucks 'cause itts still slow, its min damage has gone up by only ONE, and max by 2. So yeah wow, it does 1.5 more damage  and its a tinsy faster. However, M2 is much more hastey, and has about a 50% chance of 2-shotting a hornet, and around 30% chance of 3-shotting a viking. M3 thunder is super, but super as a price as well. 14000  the power has 80% chance of 2 shot hornet, and 65% chance of 3 shot a viking. Quite powerful, but expensive.

Rico, as M0 and M1 are much like the same. M2 changes to orange, and M3 is almost red. The darker the colour, the stronger apparently, and as rico shares the same colours in upgrades as shaft. A M2 rico with M2 hornet can defeat a M0 Viking with M0 Rico without using skill, just equal skill as the other player. However, with skillm, you'll flog him. Using M3 Rico, he won't hit you once if you shoot at the front corners of his tank. Everygun requires skill, except Firebird, and Twins.

Either weapon works just fine.

IMO, Rico is a far more versatile weapon. At 60 meters range it can do quite a bit. Better weapon for flag grabbers and just as effective if not more effective at hitting objects that are not in Line of Sight (LOS).

Thunder relies on LOS and splash damage, where rico just needs a wall and the distance between the wall and object to be under 60m.

If you like to sit back from the opponent, cut loose and get kills, thunder can be very effective, but rico can just do so much more and top end damage over the same period of time for a full burst is higher.

Either way, if you know how to use it, you will be just fine.

As for Viking and Mammoth, take your pick.

I have viking, but in retrospect I think mammoth would have been a better choice for me personally. To each his own.

Thunder is godly!

I have experience with Thunders m0 and m1, and I am absolutely certain to upgrade it to m2!

Contrary to belief it has a pretty good reload speed after upgrade, enough to cause some damage in a relatively small time.

Ricochet may be faster but it does not compare to the sheer chaos that Thunder can cause.

The chaos, you ask?

The splash damage of course.

With ricochet, you cannot kill 3 or 4 tanks in one shot! (like the Thunder can)

And, m1 Ricochet is simply not worth the crystals as it only does 1 more HP of damage, and that only applies to the close range.

Thunder, even m1, is versatile, even universal.

Get it.

And as for the tank to choose, this is a bit more difficult.

If you like the sturdy yet speedy tank, get the Viking.

If you are a seige master and love HP, get the Mammoth.

Personally I prefer Viking.

compare my experience of using my m3 thunder to your m1 thunder. easy for you to say...with all the flying m3 rico m3 shaft m3 freezes in the way even if i camp at my damn base

i have skill in thunder (your a troll if you criticize this) and theres still more "godly" weapons out there, except when your facing an m3 thunder at range :P

rico can be quite deadly if you know how to use it even at m1

M1 rico sucks coz its got a 33% chance to do one extra damage then m0 M1 Thunder sucks 'cause itts still slow' date=' its min damage has gone up by only ONE, and max by 2[/quote']

what did you expect from an m1 weapon :P pwn clans with it?

One piece of information that this individual forgot to address: The goal is to get your weapon to M3 NOT M1. Comparing the statistics of M1 units is a rather moot point and exceptionally short-sighted when you consider the end goal.

Do your math on the M3 units, they are the only units that matter.
