I got the gold box today in Madness, then it said 'Codacr has taken the gold box' HOORAY!

Who cares about gold-box announcement? What about overall performance? It falls on half of former value (Polygon old value 29 FPS after "update" new one is 13 FPS... on bigger maps there are terrible FPS values - unplayable indeed). In general for comfortable playing is needed 30 FPS and more.... congratulation with Update 1.71! great job has been done.

At first I thought it was just me...but when I saw others like you were having the problem too, I know it could not just be me.

 

The FPS mainly sinks when I play in maps of Iran, Madness, Silence, Serpuhov, Kungur, and more.

But mostly Iran.

 

I think it should be fixed, or at least checked over.

 

And if it does happen to be just me, then please provide some form of advice beyond what is offered at the FAQ (I have exhausted all of those efforts).

Instead of wasting time on silly threads why don't we discuss the messy state of this game?

 

There are a few big problems and I'm pretty sure most players are pissed off by them, we have ...

1 - Servers going down every 5 minutes

2 - Frames per second figures dropped down to unacceptable levels, playing tanki with flash 11 is a joke and with previous versions is a mess

3 - Cheaters all over the places, not a big deal if we consider the two other problems

there is plenty of relevant topics to discuss I think!

 

Tanki is becoming a crappy game and every update does not seem to fix anything, at this point who cares about gold boxes and useless warning messages.

They don't want us to use that Railgun trick, they want bigger rank requirements on some maps, external link blocker hides even some usernames that have a ".", newbies now don't get a reward for creating their first battle etc., but hackers are still here, the Anti-Cheat system blocked a lot of good players, my FPS was 25-30 - now 5-15, unbelievable amount of lags, "Work was carried out with the code, which will reduce the number of restarts of game servers during the day" - yes, but servers now kick me out every few minutes... :evil: This year's "updates" are almost useless! :evil:

They rather than making gold box messages should fix the FPS and undo some updates that made this game almost unplayable :evil:

I expected the warning message to be among the frags (top-right), a yellow message there would be noticed more easily (distinguishable among white, green, red and blue text). Tons of people still miss the message because they don't read who got flag, captured it and so on. It is a step in right direction obviously. :)

Gold boxes fall at every multiple of around 700 crystals. But they don't fall at exactly 700, I've seen as early as 705 and as late as around 720 (need confirmation)

Personally I dislike all those huge maps full of camping druggers, so seeing the FPS's on those collapsing doesn't really concern me.
