Buy viking and equip thunder and save up to upgrade them.

To be perfectly honest, get m3 firebird. Its a stonker of a weapon, gets you tons of crystals. It really helped me as a low rank and I used it until I was a WO4 when I got m2 thunder.

 

So to put it short, you should get:

 

m3 firebird

m0 viking.

 

M3 Firebird especially.

 

@Deathsfire: I disagree. Weapons before hulls. Damage is the thing that counts.

This weapon is seriously underestimated, and very much under-appreciated.

It is cheap, yet [just barely] more powerful than Freeze M1. :mrgreen:

 

Goes great with Viking, since it is both fast and strong.

 

However I do believe Firebird has its limitations as you grow into the Lieutenant ranks; soon most players will have Freeze M2, which easily outmatches Firebird m3.

I totally agree with you. Firebird is such an amazing weapon at a low rank, getting you all the crystals, all the everything :P With Viking especially. And with drugs :mrgreen: It does fade at third lieutenant though, even though i would still use it over m3 isida in small maps like farm/island/hill [mainly because it's really fun owning people with a "noob" weapon]/ :P

If I were you I would shoot for hornet It is pretty good even I use it and i am the rank of (Brigadier 1 gold star) so do like I and save for m3 until you have it.
