caves and smugglers cave up.

 

with smugglers cave, the idea i had was a few buildings at the top, a cave half way down the cliff, and the cave would have entrances at the top and bottom, and there would also be the walkways like in grand canyon, and alos, a new way of using water.

the first problem was that the cliffss elements in the cave elements were the same shape and size as the normal cliffs, but a totally different design, so the walkway idea went down the drain.

the second problem was, that the cave peices did he a up/down slope, but, 1. it was the wrong color(it was WAY lighter then all the other peices, and did not fit in) and 2. it was not the same size, it did not fit neatly with the other peices.

 

so, in the end it turned into a test map, using test elements, but the one succes was the water, which i think turned out quite well(i used more then one layer of the water, so you could see it even when you were beneath the top layer).

Cave is boring because there's already one on the Test Server :P

 

Smuggler's Cave is.... special :mrgreen: Awesome idea, but I dont like the caves... for some reason. :/

 

But good job all the same. Put music on the youtube vids next time!

Crater 2.0 and Park have been added, Park(1.0), Crater small, Inverse, Grid 16(big) Narnia and Crates(1) have been deleted.

Brett, just to save a bit of space and to make it look cooler, it'd be awesome if you could photoshop some images with the name of each map "e.g. Crater" on a background, and then make it so when you clicked the image you'd go to the link to the map video.. ;)

there are water elements, but they havent been used in any maps, and i dont think they will be used in 2.0.

i have been making them for months, recently i havent been making so many, but im hoping to start creating more 2.0 maps more reguarly.

also, dumb question, but islands v1 or v2? cos they are pretty different.
