Tanki Online Hardware Acceleration Usage Guide

 

Attention! Linux OS does not support this function.

 

1. Turning on the mode

 

Update your FlashPlayer up to 11.x. version. You can use this link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Update your video card drivers.

nVidia http://www.nvidia.ru/Download/Scansg.aspx

ATi Radeon http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

 

In order to activate hardware acceleration, right-click inside the game window and select 'Parameters' in the drop-down list. In 'Parameters' window, click on the first tab and tick 'Turn on hardware acceleration' field. After this, reload the browser to apply the changes.

 

2. Turning off the mode.

 

If you cannot enter the battle after turning on Hardware Acceleration because the map doesn't load, you need to turn off the mode. To turn off hardware acceleration, right-click inside the game window and select 'Parameters' in the drop-down list. In 'Parameters' window, click on the first tab and untick 'Turn on hardware acceleration' field. After this, reload the browser to apply the changes.

 

3. Fine Tuning Your Video Card

 

If you are not satisfied with the image quality after activating Hardware Acceleration, you can fine tune various settings of the game and video card.

In 'Settings' section of the game you can turn on / turn off 'MIPmapping'. Attention! After activating this option, you can encounter pauses in display when entering the battle. This is caused by MIPs being created. This won't take more than a minute.

In your video card driver settings you can fine tune 'Antialiasing' and 'Anisonthrope Filtration' settings. Each of them influences the image in its own way.
