I didn't understand only about the 'lighter and softer maps' - it is a good idea, but I hope that what I saw was just an early/beta version of the 'lighter' Sandal.I hope it is just an early version, because it doesn't look so real like it is now. :)

i used to have 10-20 FPs now i have 50-60+ Whoa! (allthought I had to do nothing to make it work(its a bit blurry in longer ranges but who cares!))

cheese, the other 2 are graphic card drivers, normally they'd be up to date.

The update has nothing to do with fixing the connection, or the server crashes. It just means the game will move more smoothly on your computer (when it works)

you will only acheive those graphics when you have got a graphic card
