Hey guys, iNubCake here again. This time I’m doing a guide on armours/hulls. Hope you enjoy and learn from this guide and don’t forget to leave some feedback on how I can improve in the future.

So let’s start with the different types of armours

Ok, there are 3 main types of armours, just like weapons.

In the video, i just show you some combinations of weapons and armours I think work well together.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qXu-5kSryA&feature=youtu.be

Fast and Low HP:

- ¬Wasp

- Hornet

Medium Speed and HP:

- Hunter

- Dictator

- Viking

Slow and High HP:

- Titan

- Mammoth

Note that all armours HP and Speed can be increased by the use of either Double Armour or N2o.

General Information:

Wasp:

This will be the first armour you start off with; this paired with the Smoky is the starting point of all TankiOnline users. The Wasp falls under the category of Fast and Low HP, which is exactly what it is. At lower level, this will be the main leader in for rushing, with speeds that outrun the Hunter and Titan. It is better used for flanking and catching the enemy off guard, rather than taking a battle straight up front, as the lack of HP will generally result in a loss. It is recommended to be used with the lower calibre weapons, and close range weapons such as Smoky and Firebird. In my opinion, probably the first armour you should upgrade if you’re thinking about it.

Hunter:

The Hunter was my armour of choice back when I first started, it has average HP and Speed, which means it doesn’t fall behind when chasing or doesn’t get caught, and it doesn’t get torn apart from a few shots. This armour is more suited for a ‘patrolling’ roll. Moving around the middle of the map, and has the capabilities of a front on battle. This armour is suited for every weapon; it is fast enough for close range weapons, stable enough for high recoil weapons and able to let off a few shots of the weaker weapons before it dies. Another good option to upgrade at lower levels.

Titan:

The name seems to say everything I’m going to say. This armour is a big, slow, high HP machine. I never really used this as I really couldn’t handle watching it slowly trudge it way to the places I wanted to go. Mainly used for camping/defending area’s or objectives, as it can be very hard to move/kill. In face to face combat, this will generally kill most armour at its level, being the massive HP monster it is. The weapons recommended would be anything that is medium/long range, not recommended that you put a close range weapon on this, as you’ll never catch the enemy and most likely die.

Dictator:

The Dictator is basically a beefed up Hunter, it has the same aspect that it is medium paced and has a decent amount of HP. This is probably one of the best armours (cost/effective) wise to get to M3. As it isn’t that expensive to get and has sweet stats at M3 level. Multi rolled armour, can be used for penetrating enemy bases, patrolling areas and defending objectives. Keep in mind that the Dictator and Titan are big tanks in size and you may be seen, even if hiding. Just like the Hunter, any weapon thrown onto the Dictator performs well. It has the speed to chase enemies and the HP to take a few decent hits.

Hornet:

This is another one of the more popular armours, as a lot of people love the quick speeds and agile driving on the Hornet. Generally used for patrolling and capturing the flag quickly. The only downsides to this armour are the slight lack of HP, and the unbalanced weight distribution. At high speeds, turning, attempt not to shoot while driving, as this will result in your tank flipping quite easily. This is great armour to get to M3 for a reasonable price. I know I’ve said in the past that you shouldn’t use the Railgun on the Hornet, and yes I’ve tried it. It can be used quite well, as long as you don’t shoot while turning. Attach to anything low recoil or close range for maximum effect. Try avoid head on fights, as low Health results in death most of the time.

Viking:

The Viking is probably an even more beefed up Dictator, it again has the same Medium Speed/Medium HP aspect to it and is probably my favourite armour to use. It doesn’t lack in speed and has a sweet amount of HP. As you may have seen in some of my videos, I just use this and the Thunder and it destroys everything. Well used for patrolling and camping, as well as rushing if you feel like it. Just note that the Viking is a bit flat, and you may not be able to shoot over certain walls or gaps. Great armour to get to M3 if you have the money to do it, if not, it is still good at lower levels. Can be used with any weapons and performs well, just like the Dictator and Hunter. This should be able to defeat most tanks in head on fights with its reasonable HP.

Mammoth:

The Mammoth is essentially an upgraded Titan. Slow, but has a HUGE amount of HP. Never liked the slower tanks personally, but at M3, it really isn’t that slow. Well used for defending an area or camping. It will win almost all head on confrontations with its extreme tanking abilities. It has the same trait as the Titan, having a very large body, so keep that in mind. Fully drugged Mammoths are virtually unstoppable; at M3 with Double Armour is 400HP. Use with long range weapons and medium ranged for maximum efficiency. Pretty costly to upgrade, but that is your choice.

Soo, anyhoooooo. This concludes another guide by me; I hope I’ve helped in giving you information or helping your decisions for future purchases. Feel free to send me questions on Forums or just reply here.

Don’t forget to comment feedback on how I can improve and also don’t forget suggestions for future guides.

Thanks. Happy Tanking.

The Title should be 'Hulls'' date=' not 'Weapons'. ;) Good guide though, although I disagree that all weps work with Dictator.[/quote']

i dont like mammoth with rail or thunder, because when it pops out of cover to shoot, you hav to disrupt the other thunder or rail's aim if not ur pretty much gonna get hit coz its too slow to withdraw, vikin iz better

^ Well it seems those are the only things that actually do something well with Mammoth, apart from those there's nothing much Mammth is good for.
