The first statistics on the cleaning up of cheaters

I think you'd be interested to know that in recent days, among other measures, we collected statistics and analyzed the activity of players whose rates were guaranteed to differ from the figures which one can get from a fair play. In simpler word, identification of 100% cheaters.

 

In creation of the algorithm of the daily cleaning up of cheaters, we maintained the rule of "do no harm", and the allowable error was left in favor of the player. Then the allowable error was doubled, reducing the likelihood of normal players being mistaken for cheaters to zero.

 

So:

During the first clean-up, 3451 users were blocked, there activity and performance do not coincide with any means possible in the game. Also with this method, we got a list of more than 8000 cheaters who have been blocked already, too, and this confirms the correctness of the algorithm. Cleaning of the base will be done automatically. Algorithm will be adjusted towards narrowing the list. Members who earn crystals in a fair way are naturally excluded from the list.

 

This measure makes shameless direct cheating unprofitable. Other mechanisms are on the way.

Lets hope it helps... what remains will be the cheaters who dont cheat for "profit" but for having fun in cheating and ruining others games... I have never seen so many tele-porting players as in the last days in tanki since i play :(

Honestly I have been thinking about quitting Tanki Online altogether because of the amount of hackers/cheaters I see in the Silence/Silence II games. Although this is a nice game and it is the only game in which I have spent any real money, I, like many other players, have been cheated out of hundreds and hundreds of crystals as well as true enjoyment of the game. I am greatly frustrated with this. It is good to see that you are taking some action on this. I will give it maybe another couple of weeks to see how it goes. But if real, measurable action does not take place that can be seen by the players, you can count on your customer base to begin to dwindle. And as word goes viral on the internet and gaming forums, you may find it harder and harder to gain new customers no matter what marketing methods you employ. For all our sakes, we all hope you are successful. As a former online gaming Community Representative and Moderator Supervisor, I know that this can be done. I only hope for your sakes that it is done quickly and efficiently before too much damage is done. Good luck and thanks! :)

What about those that are somehow invisible in the game? On several occasions I was killed by a cloaked tank.....I saw the tank pick up N2O and crystals as was behind it....the boxes went away and the sound of him running over them was normal but there was no tank.

 

And then there are the ones that appear to get inside the buildings.....they can shoot out you but you cannot shoot them.

 

Both of the tactics above appear to be was that people are cheating.

Finally! Here is to finishing the job off and completely stopping the hacking. Nice way to stop repeat offenders in the mean time or those that thought they got away with it.

i'm the one who owns this account :050150 (I paid in my account more than 270$ ) !!

 

my account has been blocked since months ago !

 

I have been accused of that I cheat in the game and I swear my God, I did not do it , look here is what happened

 

There have been a problem in my browser (mozila fire fox ) and just for 2 minutes no one could kill me i don't why ? and i don't know how to prove that !!

but the gamestanding was still there so we lose anyway.........

If I understood that correctly, you will be blocking or eliminating users who have been cheating.

 

Does that mean, that cheaters will still be able to cheat in the game, just on next day their accounts will be deleted.

 

So, if one wants to win a game with a big fund he/she will launch a mult who will help to win the game and on next day the mult will be deleted.

You should block also players,who is belongs to cheaters,for example, player Slavik-Athens,always come together with the cheater,and than in the last flag cheater logg off,and Slavik Athens does take all funds!
