New graphics or no cheaters

Hi,

 

I keep seeing hints that developers are working with new graphics, designs, maps etc. .... something that could be called TankiOnline v1.1

 

At the same time due to the number of hackers the game isn't a game any more so Tanki Online can't keep its promise that players can gain crystals in the battle (http://tankionline.com/en/game/):

Tank upgrades. Higher ranks unlock new coats, turrets, armor and supplies. All of these can be bought in the Garage for special game currency — crystals. You can gain them in a battle, buy them or get them as a gift for inviting your friends in the game.

What would you, as players, like to see first: new design or hacker-free game?

there support group

there graphics group

there tech group

there admin group

there moderator group

and there might be more...

anyway my point is,that these groups working each on sperate stuff,

support group for exmpale answering emails and etc

tech groups checking game logs when reporting hackers

grapchics group design stuff, since its their work....

There's been ample discussion on how to deal with the hacker problem, and it really is not that difficult to resolve if you make it so that it's difficult to get away with and no fun any more. Even simple me has made suggestions on it, but probably most suggestions are not seen by Tanki staff that could implement it if it comes from English speakers who cannot write in Cyrillic.

If there is a will, there is a way.

Any business can redirect it's resources according to the needs and priorities.

Outsourcing is also an option.

 

Meaning, the main question is about the need or will.

 

Today's news:

When you create a battle, the rank limit is now tied to the creator's rank.

Meaning gaining crystals in the battle on corporal/sergeant level is impossible since cheaters have to rob these games before they gather enough experience.

The Anti-Cheat works ._. but I still want a hacker free game more then better graphics and a better design, so I haven't voted.

At the moment, the developers are mainly focussed on the war against cheaters. Graphics can come afterwards anyway. :)
