Depends on the side the Shaft is on, as well as the Shaft user himself. I myself tried working with Shaft in these games but failed horribly because no matter what you do they are able to either take full control of one entire side of Tribute. Or die a million times trying.

If Shaft takes control of said side, enemies just stop coming from there and the other sides get overrun. If Shaft simply dies trying, he's not helping the team in any way.

Hi, please don't jump on me for this, but since you said,"it depends" ... would it be correct if I say, that shaft just doesn't fit into your strategy there?

That would be good, since I wouldn't like to hear, that shaft without drugs is good for nothing. :-)

 

Anyway, I agree, that K.L.E.R.I.K and others should respect the wish of the majority players in the game.

Give me a brake! It's already enough difficult to find a non-supply game to use free-non-supply card.

If that would be accepted and taken as an example for a future, we will have right to ban every drugger, who causes other players to leave the game ... :)

1. Before you all leave, press TAB and take a screenshot.

2. Create a private battle

3. After that, using forum, send a private message to all members of the battle except the KLERIK or who ever.

Lieutenant_Me asked how to organize it ... its not a good solution, its rather a workaround.

 

If you are looking for a solution to the "KLERIK syndrome" I'd still propose to consider an implementation of game "limitations" what user much accept before entering into a battle. Kinda "This game is for WASP+Railgun only. Press OK to etner". Ignoring game limitation would result with some "soft" punishment (Ban for week etc), and/or the cerator of the game should have the right to kick players.

 

A voting system is out of the question because if will always be abused by the players. Fact. Give a non-abusable method and it will be implemented.

Almost all privileges can be and are abused ... people used to live with that. If its not out of the question maybe there should be a topic to discuss how to implement it.

I've already said that admins are not the only smart and trustful persons in the world.

 

Howver, to be honest, the less non-game options there are the better IMHO. Since the hackers are mostly gone, I'd vote against the voting system in regular games at the moment :)

I confirm, that in these "semiprivate" battles players can be rude to outcomers -- I once entered into a Dic-Rail game that wasn't full and asked how strict the requirements are (Viking M2 instead of Dict M2) -- as a response I got an insult. :shock: And there wasn't a real battle going on what I might have disturbed.

In TO insults are so usual, practically standard way of communication -- its the Russian way I guess ... :)

It sounds like this problem will only be solved if game creators can select the weapons allowed in the battles. That being said there are a couple of other points mentioned I'd like to give my two cents worth on. Why is it that those are so rude if you join by mistake? On an english server the game titles should be translated so you can read it, my russian is terrible. As a shaft I'd be glad to leave if the players wish it but usually they just cuss you instead of explaining. At that point I don't leave on principal. Second, why don't things get translated more automatically? There could be the original and then the translation based on which language server you are on.

I dont need to politely ask you to exit. Name of game is (again) БЕЗ ИЗИД И ШАФТОВ and if your IQ is bigger than my shoes size you know what that mean.

When i join that battle, you already got points for kills. I don't know who insult you before that but i start to killing you, told you to exit and after that, insult you. So what? I was just try to play normal game and you refuse to exit. After that, you exit, change to Rico than join again and start chasing us for kills. Still, not so smart move. :D

Here's a freaking solution.

Make battles where you can choose which weapons are allowed (not m's, just weapons)

No shafts, shaft and isida stadium/monte carlo, tier 1 showdown, etc

Go get shaft protection if not then you shouldn't be playing in no supply map with shafts. everyone have the right to stay in a game no matter what.

I would like to support the concept of battles where weapon and hull type and grade limitations can be configured. My rank goes up as I play but I cannot afford to keep buying M3 everything so my gear is a lower standard than perhaps others of the same rank. However, I'm limited in the new rules of playing people of around my grade. This means I am at quite a disadvantage if they've upgraded everything to M3 where I'm still on M1 for most other than tier 1 weapons. If we could set turret and hull types and levels, that would be great. And if you didn't like the config for a given game, there's not exactly a shortage of games running at any given time.

 

Just my thoughts....

This whole string, except your reply, is in English. It looks as if you understand enough English to read it and then make a reply. To do so in another language except English is rude, at best when this entire thread is in English. It appears as if you did not want the English speakers to understand your reply. Perhaps you are making a point in another language to explain to non-English speakers what is happening, I don't know. But if you are, you should explain that to the English speakers. Let's all try to respect each other no matter what language we speak and treat each other with respect.
