Yesterday I played a game with heading "Without isidas and shafts"

 

One guy (Marshal I think) joined with Mammoth+Shaft.

I asked him, is he doing it on purpose and if then why.

He said he didn't know the games was without shafts and soon returned with Viking+Ricochet ...

 

No problems at all ... just the spots in (good) games doesn't last long enough you could read all names, conditions etc.

im older player, wear glasses and still ALWAYS first look at name of the battle. still, i dont care if someone cant read, have dyslexia, being stupid, ignorant, rude or what ever... i just need Rule or command for creating limited weapon/tank battle. so simply...

My friend there is no point in crying over what you cannot change...Shaft is a weapon anybody and everybody can use, no amount of whining is going to make the developers take Shaft away from them.

 

Try to play a different battle, like one with supplies, to combat the Shaft.

Or better yet, use Shaft yourself.

This is for another Topic but for now; not so good idea becouse im not a coward who sit and just wait enemy to come. In real life, sniper must survive without help ('isida') and here, those cowards just run to hide on 'shaft designated spot' and with full loaded gun wait enemy on sight. As for the game they are just fund stealers like isida and we want to play without them.

 

But now when ver.2 is canceled as project (just as update until full ver.2) why they REFUSE to implement rank limited battle? This is just command, not some hardware detail in game which need to be tested. So simple but so hard for them... :evil:

:roll: There's no point in using shaft in a non-shaft tribute. Neither Jade. You become as bad as the shafts. We are not complaining here about Shaft itself. People can use Shaft if they want. I personally find it annoying but I have no problem about people using it in ordinary battles. However, sometimes we want to fight battles that do not contain shaft. We are complaining here about the noobs who find pleasure in ruining other people's enjoyment. I don't care about those who accidentally go into a game with shaft; but those who get told what the situation is and continue are complete noobs.

Snyper gave a good idea. The options to exclude certain weapon. I completely agree.

 

But the problem of isida is serious. One option would be to limit the amount of score. As more higher tha rank, less points he got.

Personally, I love using Shaft. You just need to know what map to use it on. Also, it's incredibly easy to counter shaft. Twins and Ricochet are annoying as hell, and I bet smoky is too if anyone bothers to use it against a shaft.

I love using shaft as well. That's not the point. The point is that every so often people enjoy not playing with shafts in the game, yet some people still go in with shaft despite being clearly told shaft is forbidden :roll:.

Still, I (and maybe others) dont need that someone 'agreee' with tank/weapon limitation before join game. Tanki developers can make script for that and just check if the user have 'proper' tank/weapon and dont allow him to join if he dont have. As well as doesn't match No Supply battle requirement becouse he dont have pass button will be grayed for him. If he still want to play that battle he can change tank/weapon and freely join. So simple... This is NOT SOME major project as improving graphics or hardware requirement... This is just SIMPLE command!! Do that already!
