POLL - Shaft or Freeze

i've never used any of those 2 before so my poll is for the M0 :mrgreen:

 

my game style is more towards close combat guerrilla(primary weapon - rico) but my hand is itchy at trying out shaft tho my heart says freeze..

so what do u reckon i get?

So...You haven't bought Freeze yet?It's available from Warrant Officer 2... :shock:

So...If you like smaller maps, you have Hornet, or Viking (M2-M3), and you like to be on move, buy Freeze.

If you like bigger maps, with lots of 'camping spots', buy Shaft and...enjoy the sniper. :mrgreen:

i knw freeze been out since wo2 i was saving up for rico back then. now on m1 rico / vik..

i dnt purchase crystals u see so whatever i have is thru battles. it feels like foreever to upgrade to m2 rico so im tired of jst saving up. now i have 1500 crystals that i want to use it for something. been seeing freeze going around freezing people like mad so i thot, heck i like that LOL

 

here's what it says in FAQ..

 

Freeze at M0, 20 DPS..

Rico at M1, 10-13 DPS..

let jst say 2 tanks of the same m1 hull but of different turrets.. turret 1=freeze M0 --- turret 2=rico m1.. based on the faq above, does it mean freeze wins hands down??

 

even for rico m3 the DPS is only max at 16..

when u freeze up people they cant move unless on protective paints therefore the chances of the enemy getting killed is higher.

on m3 rico u still can run away so u may still have the chance to survive the red balls attack.. so i think freeze is more powerful than rico.. does that sound right to u??

You're right that Freeze is a bit more powerful than the Ricochet.

But don't forget that with the Ricochet you can hide behind an object and shoot to another object.Then the 'rico-effect' starts, so you can destroy an enemy without going in front of him, and potentially losing your 'health'. :mrgreen:

Freeze, just like Thunder and Ricochet, is an absolute waste of time at m0. On the other hand, Shaft can kinda work at m0. Either way though, you should be looking at m2s as a third lieutenant, not m0s.

IMO, M2 rico should be your choice.
