I(dabeastman), joined an island game with my friends(phituankiet, DGKarmez, and MavericK-10). We noticed that the battle fund was around 2500. We were surprised to see that players on the winning team(blue) had a low score of 100. Thats when we realized that something was unusually wrong with the game. Unfortunately, we decided to stay in the game. After 5minutes, we all got kicked out and when we tried to log back in, this was the message we got http://i39.tinypic.com/js0xgk.png

I am sure the battle was hacked and we were unfortunate enough to be part of it. I can assure you that none of my friends have any part in it.

 

Apparently, I found out that other innocent players were suspended by this impotent "anti-hacking system". I've tried emailing tanki but they're telling me that my account is permanently suspended and I won't be able to get it back. I'm left astonished. But I won't give up. I'll keep trying until I get heard. Its not about me, its about thousands of other innocent players who are left unheard.

 

But, I need your help in this. I can't do this without you. All I'm asking you to do is to post a meaningful comment about what you think. This is my only chance to be heard. I've tried sending pm to almost all the moderators and admins, but to my surprise, only one moderator(MizaARee) replied back. Unfortunately, her power is limited. So, I'm left with no other option but to post it on forum and ask for your help.

 

I would really appreciate if you could spare a minute or two and post a meaningful comment

I've been suspended for cheating, and i had no part in the game because i didn't fully load it. But luckily it was only for a day. I hope you guys get your accounts asap.

Yea,he is absolutely right.They got suspended last night.They just joined to strange island battle that had 2500 fund and no players in winner team.First player had only 100 score.As usual,no player leave from winner team that will surely get 2500 fund.I thought that there was something wrong with this battle.May be their team had hacker and all players got kicked from winner team.Anyway they just joined to take this fund.5 minutes after they joined to this battle,they all got kicked and they tried to load back.But they said that their account got suspended for cheating :? All happened in front of my eyes.I didn't believe when ppl was crying for suspending their accounts.I thought they did something to get suspended.Now i know the truth.My friends got suspended just for joining stupid battle.I can't believe it.I never thought it would happen.What's wrong with tanki system.They suspend innocent players.huh ? Not only those 4 players got suspended.... I was there too.. and I saw many people got in but got kicked just in a matter of few mins and before the game wud finish all were kicked and I guess all of them got suspended too... No1 got the fund as no1 was there in either team and the game was deleted... I wonder how many more players joined that game and got suspended....

i am not BLOCKED on the forum through Alk, and you guys will be too.. just a heads up. and it could take MONTHS for them to review and MAYBE unblock. UNFAIR right?? :roll:

Its a real shame for tanki if they don't fix it very soon. One thing is for sure, they need a better administration. The management is way too sloppy and no wonder they're back clogged with hundreds of thousands of petitions. It clearly shows their lack of managing skills. They launched the so-called "anti-hacking system" without even making sure if it runs completely well.

 

If you think I'm frustrated, of course I am. I'm disappointed by the current situation and tanki's lack of ability to help. I wonder where does all our money go?

If it happened as you say, then you should get your account back as soon as possible, Bruce is there something to you can do about this, I know those guys a little and I don't think they would cheat???

To remove cheaters, hackers and miscreants form Tanki provides a noble intent, but to punish, intentionally or otherwise, fair players is intolerable. Any business, regardless of whom it serves: adults, youngsters, other businesses, or whomever, owes its client base its very best. If less than that, other businesses linger at the gate like hungry wolf-packs waiting for enough mistakes to occur that the wolves may feast on the carcass of the failed business. The net and gaming world moves at light speed, and developers around the world work hard to capture the gaming public. After all, escapism is a roaring philosophy for many. Tanki, you have two rules which may run counter to your nature, culture or ideals, but they apply on a worldwide scale.

 

1. The customer is always right. Now this one begs further definition. If the customer is completely unreasonable, immature, vile, despicable, even criminal, the rule merits tempering. However, in the main, the rule stands. Violate the rule with good clients, and those clients will go elsewhere, or they'll so diminish their active participation that your dream to make a living from your business will falter, stumble, fall and fail. This is irrefutable fact, not merely an attempt to support an argument in point.

 

2. If any fashion of adjustment, correction, discipline, if you will, or anything like these becomes necessary for the good of the business, game in this case, and/or the good of the majority of the clientele, such action must successfully address those who create the issues or problems and not the "good" clientele. If efforts at correction unjustly burden fair players, the good clients you hope to keep, you have big, big trouble. Such trouble will drive away those you most wish to keep, and, having suffered or perceiving to have suffered injustice, they won't return, ever.

 

When I moderated, I got to know several Mods and some Administrators, even enjoying Skyping and phone chats with several. Also, in game participation and chat, I've increased my understanding of Russians and your culture. However, having had some issues myself, a posting on some site I never on which I never posted I was suspended, I know that Russian attitudes toward customer service differ markedly from that of American business and, I believe, business in other parts of our world. It takes an intolerably long time to get responses from Help, and the language challenges tend to make dialogue tedious and difficult for folks who don't speak/write Russian.

 

Recently a "friend" of mine, pcjack, another mature fellow of similar age to me, suffered an account suspension. He may be one of the ten most ethical, honorable Tankers in the game. Not only doesn't he cheat, he loathes cheaters; he's nagged Mods incessantly to alert them them to cheaters. I love that sort of nagging. Eventually, his account restored, but he was highly frustrated and extremely disappointed at the treatment he suffered. So was I. Now, in this thread, you see another of what seems to be a growing number of complaints about unjust suspensions. I've not addressed this, because I haven't "known" most of the complainants. I know some of these. While I don't countenance some of their deportment, I rage against profaners; it's a main reason I offered my services as a Mod. I know these are fair players. Further, I don't think one liar exists among them, though I won't swear references for them :)

 

I truly enjoy Tanki despite the several frustrations I experience. The hacker onslaught is one of the most troublesome, and I applaud your efforts to fix this. However I appeal to you not to fix until you can actually fix without damaging honorable Tankers. My hope supports continuation of Tanki; I hope members of your organization make good livings from it. That won't happen if the two previously mentioned rules are served poorly or not at all. That may work in Russia; it won't work in other parts of the world, and yours is a world enterprise.

Well said MadDog... I sincerely hope that our voices would be heard. My account was also banned for no reason for a couple of days so I feel with these guys.

 

What frustrates me the most is the lack of communication between "them" and "us", especially when problem arises.

We only have one incompetent community manager representing us, who doesn't even try to make us feel like "they" care.

Get your act together tanki because my patience is running out fast. I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same too.
