Otherwise all these M3 thunders are real pain in ass, I'm not pro enough to determine quickly where they are shooting from.

I didn't have in mind playing with shaft. My shaft is M2, it can't kill M3 Viking or higher with one shot and therefore it's quite useless in majority of battles available for me.

 

Let me repeat that, if shaft can't kill with one shot it's almost useless. IMHO.

Koolwalky, you're too biased for this discussion. You are saying that we should stop deciding other people's likes and dislikes, but that's exactly what you're doing. Some of us dislike the way shaft is, and the way the battles with shafts engaged in them became. You don't have to preach otherwise. It's perfectly fine if you like shaft and everything, couldn't you just accept that others don't?

 

If people would like to play without shafts, why is it so hard for others to respect that? If some of us perceive battles with shafts as boring, why is it so complicated for others to accept a different point of view? And is it so hard to understand that some of us don't want to drug our way through it, for that matter? Or don't want to buy a shaft? We should just agree that we disagree, and leave it at that, or otherwise this whole discussion don't have much sense.

I can respect your point of view, but mine is different - a weapon that kills almost every opponent with one shot is overpowered for this game, the way it is, IMO.

let me explain myself:

 

freeze, fun to circle ppl and adrenaline rush from capping flags

 

thunder rail, some kinda sastification when u pop in and out of cover and screw up ppls aim

 

rico i only have it m0 so i cant comment on that

I used to have "old" shaft which was even more overpowered but could overheat if you charged it up too much, and aiming was much harder.

 

"New" shaft is way too easy-you can hold your max charge and aiming is much easier. Not much challenge at all. I liked the old one better...

Hey, I'm not arguing against teamplay :)

Just you mentioned the reward ... what reward did you have in mind?

 

The more you die for team (taking shafts shot isn't the only way) the less crystals you get from the fund.

And by glory I meant, that after game some guy claims to be better player because he has higher score -- 've seen those :)

 

1. More deaths =/= less crystals from the fund. Points are not removed from your score for a death.

2. If your ego is so fragile that you get frustrated when someone claims they are better because of the score, then that is your personal issue.

My coison has been saving up for the shaft ever since he found out about it.

i had a private battle w :cry: ith him today and the score was 500 for

him and 0 for me. i moved lvl killing other ppl and now every

time i enter a :cry: battle theres a shaft in it.

For me - YES!

It's fun having skills to hit opponents barrel and thinking how does he wondering what happen to him when he evaporates :P :D

It's fun to hit tank (especially drugged with N2O) flying through the air. If he doesn't evaporate, he will surely fall on his back.

And there's plenty such stuff for fun.

Beside that - playing shaft is not only waiting. You have to include your thinking and imagination, to be good. You need to have good reflexes and react in 1/100 of second - sometime you only have so "much" time to hit a target, or target will steal your flag. Usually shaft is last and ultimate defense of flag. But it's truth - Shaft need tons of patient too. But that's matter of personality character. Shaft is not for spoiled kids who need to be No1 (same isida). Shaft is one of two weapons in this game made to serve. Often, when all other irresponsible run around, shaft must patiently lurk on his prey.

Stress on almost. I also almost agree. Still can kill "hamsters" who use mainly hornets. There are also dictators... viking M3 is hard nut, but it is "eatable" :P Just need some skills for it. Problems are paintings and drugs... or combination of both... and mammy M3 of course. This beast with protecting color and drugs... it's really annoying. That's really combination when you can say - "That's really not fair". So when someone complains - complain about that, not shafts power.

Nice website, Professional gamers tend to have a lower reaction time than just 200ms, There is something called a "reflex" that gamers develop. We do not think before doing something sometimes. Like kill stealing by mistake. It was just a reflex. And I can assure you it is faster than 200ms lol

 

 

EDIT: The minimum reaction time still applies. Which is on average 0.25 seconds for Eye -> Hand? Not sure but 0.25 seconds is way higher than 200ms >_> Need sauce

You fail. When shaft came out I was one of the first in the english community to say that it was perfect gun, while everyone else was complaining that it is "UNDERPOWERED" Well congrats noobs because your complaints made it overpowered and I'll be one of those m3 shafts to piss you off in games. Peace out!

 

And I never had problems fighting other shafts with freeze/thunder/rico even on my m3 Hornet. So get some skill :mrgreen:
