From this day, the logic of the falling of (crystals, consumables, gold) bonus boxes has changed.

-And of course the "gold" box. Gold will not drop at 700, as it was before. Now the "gold" may fall at any point in the game. ...

All these changes were introduced with the boxes in order to completely prevent the movement of "gold diggers"

Gold hunters complain, but hey, isn't the Gold box meant for real players. Besides, this gold hunting itself is against the rules (1.10).

 

If the NoSupply battles would become free (to get enough players into these games), the Tanki Online would be great.

Good things:

-no more prolonging the game just for a gold box

-everyone has chance to be at the right place at the right time

-you'll catch more falling crystals

 

Bad things:

-can't capture flags when druggers are fighting for a gold box anymore

-may be buyers and high rankers will go use their drugs elsewhere

5 minutes ago i was playing a massacre and at 64 fund a gold dropped :mrgreen:... if we are lucky we can get a lots of crystals now :D ... just... luck :D

I see how this works now, i was in polygon for 30 minutes and 2 gold boxes fell in 30min however i played for 1hr 45 min game and nothing came. It is more random now and imo it is much better than before. Tank You Tanki :)

The gold box is still not all that random. You have only randomized 1 portion of the gold box dropping which is tied to the battlefund. If it still drops in only one fixed location on the map people will still camp at the place the box drops in hopes of getting one.

 

If you truly want to eliminate gold box farming, drop it at a random interval at a random drop point. Problem solved.

True but it is still a lot more fun playing battles when suddenly a gold box randomly drops rather than w8ing for a 700+ fund and then wasting all of your drugs on attempting to get it before u are disappointed.

i think it is a great idea, but i think what would make it even better is what essydo said, what about having 2-3 places on the map where it can fall?

then, no one would camp in the place where it fell, there would be almost no point in permantly drugging in the same place.

^^This. Another of the aspects to tanki that made it unique has been removed... first the everybody-can-play-together aspect, now the unique thrill of pushing and shoving to "catch gold".

I (as a player that like gold hunting) cant no longer find a battel with 580-700 found and wait for the goldbox . :?

I liked that before all the people left the battel for one second and went fighting for the goldbox.

It maked the goldbox more interesting and more fun to fight more it :!:

Now the goldbox is just anouther crystal that worth 100.

You cant know if to drugg or not.

Sure it helps the nooby players to get the goldbox... 8)

 

About the crystals, its pretty good actully :roll:
