Why is it so hard to earn crystals?

I found it more easy to earn crystals a lower rank. Often nobody else knew what they were doing' date=' and I would steal 80 crystal rewards almost entiry for myself(Like 78) on numerous occasions. My tips for higher ranked accounts to earn a lot of crystals is to not snipe, and not support. You either need to defend your flag and get all the score from those actions, or capture the enemy flag and get all the scores from those actions. This is true, I have 3 lesser accounts and found it much simpler to gain crystals if you knew what you were doing and if you had the strongest tank (Hunter+Smoky or Hunter+Twins)

 

However as I upgraded up to Warrant Officer and more, making decisions becomes decidedly more difficult, as do the battles, so making crystals becomes a bit of a chore, but, like Fiasco said, do what you must (except for NOT supporting, because that is sabotage)

In fact,people at lower rank is easy to earn crystals,you should have a m3 weapon first.And play some long time battles,crystals reward will be a surprise if you win.

Tanki online need money to keep the game running,so they earn them from players.

Haven't payed a cent to that account just to see, is it possible to stay in the competition this way.

I'd say it is, at least up to WO-1.

Just it takes time and as always time is money (crystals).

@Micky3 what you did there really is an achievement, I'm not arguing about that but you have to admit that getting crystals, upgrades and ruling games is relatively easy until WO1, but then things just cost more than you could afford for one rank of progress and in some point you fall behind with all the upgrades... at this point you will have to start buying crystals to keep up, but some people, including me cant afford that. I'm third lieutenant and I'm barely going to afford shaft m2

Thats why I brought an example of sergeant.

 

On the other hand, on 3rd lieutenant level Hormet M2 + Thunder M2 is quite usable combination. Cost 5800+6500=12300 crystals.

Experience grow from W01 to 3rd Lieutenant is 192000-57000=135000 XP

 

If you manage to keep the ratio -- 1 crystal for 10 XP -- the above mentioned combination should be possible.

 

Are you suggesting, that shaft should easy to buy?

 

Actually I support the idea, that modification for 2gen hardware should be made available on higher ranks -- example Thunder: M1-WO3, M2-3rd L, M3-Major. etc. In that case rank limitations in games would have the real meaning like on lower levels.

 

Of course, that would make game more fair, meaning less money for Tanki Online. :lol:

This pic was taken on 10/8/2011 when I was using my third account, m0 hornet and m3 firebird. It's not hard to earn crystals at lower level, all you need is time and a bit of experience.

Tanki goal = make money.

To make money must make players buy crystals.

To give away a lot "free" crystals = end of tanki.

The Rebalance refunded your crystals 100% true. It got 10x also to match the prices. But what Tanki did I think was make the prices look bigger and more intimidating- encouraging donations to the game. It kind of messed with the funds as well I think. It kind of splits the battle fund to everyone so it says.

Well, lower ranks get less crystal drops and lower battle funds. Whereas higher ranks get more crystals dropping and massive battle funds. In my opinion, I'd say go to higher ranked battles where crystals drop more often. However, you should also help out your team or else your team will vote you out.

In the battles of low rank is so hard to win more than 100 crystals, rank up, and the game became more easy to win crystals :)
