Do you know what teamwork is?

So I was playing a 300 min flag game on silence II fun right?, Well there was a speed hacker so the entire team went to the left side and was letting have at it or leaving so after a few mines the noob hacker decided since he can't get up the short slope without being blown up or frozen he left.

So me and the opposite team leader proceeded to drug away for 1st place winnings and flag away. However during this entire time about a lil over an hour the entire team was still all to the left side no one guarding the flag but me the same guy trying to flag. So I and the other team leader wear trading captures back and forth and when ever a teammate would die the would go back left and leave the base wide open for me to do all the work. Slowly some not ******ed players joined in and decided O we can win if we protect the base and let that guy catch the flag.

Anyway and the time was down to about a 170 mins left and the score was tied and then the gold box dropped... and then have the players left and the other have proceeded to suck it up even worse than before besides 1 skilled shaft 1 fire-bird and 1 rico user who along with me proceeded to flag we got +3 lead then the other team proceeded to leave and what joined their team.... 4 shafts.

Soon they caught up and passed us by two, and all but the shaft teammate left who had any sense. While the others just got murdered. But then the other team scored 11 flags back to back why because only 2 guys were guarding the base while I flagged and the other ran up the battle fund by dying repeatedly, I even got the flag up the platform twice being blasted by shafts and they couldn't carry another 2 feet. I left the game.

Now for the question do you people realize the gold box dosen't always drop anymore even if the fund passes 700?

Do you realize when the battle is high that you can make more money buy actually winning the game? "provided you actually contributed to the winning"

How do you play tanki to almost becoming lieutenants and not understand the basic strategy of a capture the flag game?

Do you need someone to make a noob proof guide?

You take the amount of players in the game 20 plus all those that left and joined in for the 5 hours and figure just how many of you have brain damage?

Got a better story of idiots in a team game? O please let's here it maybe some one will learn a new tactic or we'll at least get some nice face-palm pics for laughs.

Sounds like somebody had a bad day. :-)

Don't worry my friend, the times will get better, just do not let idiots in the game get you down.

Sometimes you will have great glorious victory, sometimes you'll have bitter defeat, it's best to celebrate both!

Ways to get a decent team:

1. Don't play in Silence. Dude, 95% of people who play in Silence don't know what teamwork is. Of course they don't! You go into silence expecting teamwork = you made a big mistake. Join maps like tribute or bobruisk or solikamsk for players who care about teamwork.

2. Get a clan, and play with them.

Well at least its not friendly fire where you do the hard work to get enemy flag and ur team mates kill for it just before capturing or block ue so the enemy kills ue then they get killed and loose it and the enemy wins cause while ur team team kills they busy workong to win nobs these days

This was not bitter, bitter is going all out in a blaze of glory and losing to a better player/team. This was ridiculous.

@1. True but it's top 5 in maps for ranking and I just decided against odds to play for the fund.

@2. Tried that didn't work out, new rank limitations....

No but I have had every time I go to flag my team mate rams me so I die then takes the flag and score it himself.

Have you ever read the display that Tanki Online puts up that says, "Every man for himself"?? Unfortunately, I do see a bit too much of that when I play in a Silence map. Having said that, here and there I run into a really good player who understands what "team" means. In a CTF game, if he is severely damaged, he will drop the flag if he has captured it and let a player with more health take it in for the score. I've even seen a few really great team mates capture the flag and let someone else who has really worked hard in the game actually take the flag from him and allow them to make the score. He will also selflessly work in a supporting role if he sees a team mate going for the flag who really has a chance of making it, and not shove him out of the way to get it for himself. He will draw fire as necessary to help the mission succeed or give suppressing fire on the enemy to help his team mate. He also does not crowd up the ramps or entrances by just sitting there and not allowing his team mates to pass who can get the flag. He also does not hinder his team mates in play by shoving them around nor impeding the progress of the game. He also works in conjunction with his team to insure a team win, not grabbing the flag and hiding somewhere because he's afraid someone else may score and get a whole 2-5 more crystals then him. In short, a good player looks at the big picture, how as an individual and as a team mate everyone's actions contribute to a team victory. Unselfishness and team loyalty. So yeah, there are players like that in Silence games. It's just the bad eggs that seem to get all the attention.

He'll drop it because he is usually in the lead and want to win as passing the flag still gives xp. Although it should give some score too in my opinion. I usually see at least one of these players minimum in every game unless they leave as the best players always leave when the game get's to the point it will soon be lopsided and their is no longer a reason to stay.

So many walls of texts... Didn't read any of them ._.

And your point is....... only to flood this topic?

I don't really communicate via chat during battles, to me the best best battles are those in which everyone has this sixth sense and knows what needs to be done to win as a team.

True, but this behavior enhances team spirit + score wise there won't be any major gaps between players, therefore it's more unlikely for players to leave the battle because everyone seems equal.

When great gaps between scores exist, much players with a lower rating tend to leave the game when they feel only few or no crystals can be made. Chances that new players enter the battle become smaller and smaller when left over players have very high scores, which often results in losing the battle.

So one might say... there is more benefit to it than you think
