To Begin With, What is a "troll"?

A troll isnt a person, it is rather a behavior a person takes. Beleive it or not, trolling is not a characteristic of a person as is selfishness, but rather a behavior that a person decides to act upon. The reason why I say this is because a person CHOOSES to troll, not a person is a definite troll as a human characteristic. But, the troll behavior is just a type of negative behavior that a person uses to primarily invoke emotional responses, usually negative.

What does the "troll" want?

Primarily, a response, usually negative. Secondly, attention. Trolls feed of responses and/or attention. That is all they want. Trolls want to bring out the bad side of you, want you to respond negatively, want your attention. A trolls' primary objective is to spread negativity in its enviorment.

What are the "trolls" tactics?

1. Spam

2. Harassing others on sensitive subjects (religion)

3. Dancing in front of people in a current conversation or meeting, or simply standing there

4. Seeing your outfit, and going against it (saying "I hate star wars", when you are wearing a trooper outfit)

Spam is just mean to annoy. Nothing more and nothing less.

Sensitive subjects are a troll favorite. Easy to provoke, because the troll knows most people will defend their ideals to the death.

Trolls, for some reason love to dance. When trolls dance, moving to another location will only make the troll follow you. In this case you

 will have to "Feed it"

Where do "trolls" come active?

Ill put a list of situations in which the troll behavior usually begins to manifest itself.

1. Groups (Club meetings in open space etc)

2. Wherever there is an open debate

3. If you are just standing there in a pose (Standing at attention in the Cantina for example)

To elaborate, trolls usually manifest themselves where there is a mass. Especially group meetings. Its shocking to see how easy a troll can make an entire club dissapate or become annoyed at such a simple act of immaturity. Groups provide an adequate enviorment for trolls, why? Because the group in an entirety will give a troll what it wants. Why get responses and attention from a single person when you can get it from an entire club? And very often, the entire group plays the trolls' game, giving it negative responses to the max, while the troll laughs at the feeble attempts of the other players.

Religion and animal cruelty. Just like group gatherings, these situations just call out for trolls. Usually, in this instance, the troll will pick the negative side of the topic, and then elaborate on his/her choice with innapropriate, or offensive explanations. If there are two partys debating, the troll will most likely go neutral, and begin to say to both sides that they are both wrong with again, innapropriate or offensive explanations

If you stand somewhere (more in the Cantina), in a pose, expect a troll. A troll will come up with two tactics. A: "Why are you standing there like an *****?". B: "I hate ______ (response depends on outfit wearing, like Star Wars for example). To trolls, these are just test subjects.

I am a troller myself, and this topic might be a troll, might not. So everyone, handle with care! May the troll, be with you.
