Super annoying Shaft bug (Lag?)

OK! I'm fed up with this problem and I wonder if I'm the only one around here...

 

Every time I try to take out a Shaft, whether it is from mid or close range, there is no way I can anticipate on its movement. Why?

 

Because nearly each and every time the Shaft turrent (and tank) starts spinning in strange directions. If it shoots to the left I'm dead, if it shoots to the right I'm dead, even if it shoots in the opposite direction I'm dead.

 

Shaft overpowered, NO! Shaft overpowered due to this problem, YES! I would like to know where guns are aiming for, if you get my drift.

 

Anybody else here with the same problem?

Yep, but note that this is happens only with Shaft! That makes it less likely to be lag IMO.

 

I have a clean cache in flash, have hardware acceleration working, a good FPS, but I still have this problem.

 

Is it only Shaft which bugs you, or do you have more problems?

My problem is only with Shaft. It is random too. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not ....

 

At times the Shaft will appear to fire TWO beams.

 

At other times the Shaft turret will rotate 90 degrees without showing any motion. It just goes from one side to the other

in an instant. It leaves me no time to adjust position. BOOM !! It's got ya.

 

I thought it might have been my frame rate. I use Explorer and my FPS averages 60.0. I tried it with Chrome which

usually averages a FPS of 20.0. Same results. Chrome is pathetic !!

 

I use Freeze in the Polygon. Shaft used to be an easy target if I could get close. Now it is a killer at close range too.

 

I just don't know !! If it starts happening with other players it could be a MAJOR PROBLEM.

 

If someone looks at this thread the first thing they will post is ... clear your cache.

 

I have been here almost 7 months and I have NEVER cleared my cache. No problems yet !!

Recently a shaft bug has been reported.

It seems, for the users that are watching it, that the shaft turret beguns to rotate even if the shaft is stopped in the scope mode. This is only a visive bug: in fact, he's still watching you.

PS: The user that is using the shaft does not notice this.

I got same problem and when I'm using shaft it looks like a I'm rotating my turret but in reality I don't.

I see that sometimes when i'm in scope looking at other shafts. their turret just seems to turn, when it turns out, they're really looking at me.

I use hornet and freeze and it used to be fun to play. Now, anticipation of shaft movement is impossible and it is definitively a BUG!

 

I ask mods and admins how many more people should complain to get this, I would say, minor and simple bug fixed. I really enjoy close combat tricks and dancing, but this is really annoying. Most of the time i am not sure whether shaft is zooming and shooting other tank or my tank. Most of the times I try avoiding their aim, and instead of that i am doing opposite - getting straight and destroyed in a strange shaft rotating rotating angle.

 

For now, I have to ram into them to make sure on tank and gun position.

I don't understand D:

When you face a shaft while he is aiming at you, and you move a bit and the shaft turret turn to follow you, then it glitch and you see that the turret is looking completely in another direction..

 

Example: I'm aiming at you with my shaft, you start to bug me moving around, I follow you slowly with my turret. What do you see?

At first me aiming at you, then suddendly my turret turn and look another directions, but I'm still aiming at you.

 

Is a glitch that happen to the player moving around the shaft, not to the player using shaft.

I don't think is lag, but a glitch..

Since lag will let you die before even seeing the shaft aiming at you :D
