i spend lot of time & energy trying to raise the average level of entries - trying create my video with no mistakes that others have..

 

Sorry but in the end I see the problem in following:

1. inaccurate rating FREEZE videos - originaly posted rules is not taken serious

2. violation the Publication rule - Why Nuclearbombs posted the video from his second account, ignored the rule to write only Nickname, but even left requirement: I post this for nuclearbom! All prizes must go to nuclearbom!!

 

Please help me understand...

Try to get me right - the biggest problem here is:

1. inaccurate rating on FREEZE videos - where originaly posted rules is not taken in count

2. careless dealing with Publication rules - Why Nuclearbombs entry is for his second account & contains requirement: All prizes must go to nuclearbom!!

@fog Nuc's win looks fine to me, in the end devs were not too strict about rules, in fact most of the entries were not following them.

 

The problem is that the best video in freeze category did not win. The developers must have seen something in that entry that I didn't or couldn't see, but from my player point of view that was not a great guide for freeze, clearly not better than mine, Fog's or Hapa's. I guess it was just a mistake, or there were some hidden reasons, I'm just expressiong my opinion about this issue. If you want to check my entry it's on page 4.

I do agree that I think yours is a better video. In my opinion, you deserved the victory more. However, the developers simply chose they're favourite video - Pistolen's entry - possibly because of the tips that he mentioned in his video. Though you may have shown more skill, it depends on what the dev's were looking for. However, there's no point crying over spilt milk - you're not going to gain anything by this complaint.

 

However, another main reason why you might not have won is because of the profanity used in your soundtrack, which might not have been approved of by the developers. Who knows, if you'd chosen a more decent soundtrack, you might have won. But what's done is done.

Thank you for your opinion in pointing out the reasons for my failure to achieve victory. It surely was not my aim to complain, but rather to get a feedback for reasons why my effort to achieve victory failed in a first place. As it was surely considered by many to be one of a few strong candidates for victory, it would have been really nice to get such a reasoned response from the judges, as I got from you. Thanks!

Knowing my mistakes surely helps bettering myself in future.
