Hello I'm new to "Tanki Online" and I want some tips & tricks to move on and become the best tank.

Just one tip from me: Don't waste all your crystals on a lot of different turrets or hulls. Try to focus on one. When it's fully upgraded, try upgrading a better turret and tank.

The best combinations are Smoky and Hunter, and Twins and Hunter.

 

Yes, Hunter is a great tank balanced between heavy hitter and light cheap tank, don't leave home without it.

 

Never buy Firebird, unless you plan on getting Hornet....the worst you can do is combine Firebird with Titan!

 

Another tip, is to use the Z and X keys along with movement, you will find yourself at a major advantage in many situations, and with it you may earn many crystals from victory!

 

Also, try not to expose yourself in the open, or you will be bombarded by Smoky shells...expose only to get the crystal boxes, since there is a profit.

 

One last tip, do not buy all of the hulls!

You may think Titan and Dictator are worthy buys but trust me, you will later regret saying that...stick to one good hull like Hunter and Viking, but you may choose what you like most.

 

Spend your crystals wisely, and last but not least, never give your account information to anyone except the Login screen.

You will become indestructible. After that it is best to purchase every single paint in the garage. Start with the cheap ones then move up to the more expensive ones. The higher paints are extremely powerful. Your titan and firebird will be able to take down massive ricochets and mammoths if you have all the paints.

Guys don't be mean to newbies. Here's a good tip, don't get tempted on new m0 hulls or turrents. Like some of the others said, upgrade them. For me, I'd say smokey and hunter are the best combinations at the start but once you can buy railgun, try to upgrade railgun. Railgun m3 is VERY powerful and it can shoot down a 60 health armour in one shot most of the time! I hope you'll find this tip useful! :D

to quickly get off a tall building shoot if you are using smoky or railgun. if you see a firebird back up and keep shooting.

trust me, you CAN kill a mammoth with a smoky. if you are smart enough to get away from his attacks then you can beat him.

Here is a trick that not many people know. Do any fast tanks here jump off great heights? Well, usually you use the recoil to land. However, I found that with a speed of 5.5+, and your tank body is pretty small, that if you rotate the turret while falling off a cliff, etc, you will spin in the opposite direction. Also, this is effective usually if you land vertically - straight up. It is pretty pointless to do that if you can easily land your tank.
