viking vs dictator

I've read somewhere that you should get the same paint protection as your turret. I think this because you fight the battles to suit the turret. So if you get a long range turret you're more likely to battle from a distance and close range turrets can only fight the battle at close range. So if you get a close range turret, you should get a close range protection paint. Same with long distance.

Turret and hull matching is easy. You look at the attributes of both and think of what it would be like to play.

EG. if you look at a turret and a hull that both have slow rotating velocities, you're going to be dead in the water. Unless you intend to camp in one spot, where the there is a limited view and tanks can't come round the back. Then you'll never be able to aim at them in time.

This advice is coming from a noob by the way. Only a First Sergeant.

HELP ME TO FINISH VIK PART, I USE DIC

i think it is good to use dic from the begining to major - brigadier rank because he is cheap, fast and have 120 hp for only 6150 cry !

example :you use twin m3, or rail m3, and you go with dic until he is m3 and then you buy a 10k protective paint, and AFTER you upgrade viking but you still play with dic until you have a m2 m3 viking.

hmmm, kinda agree with the first part, but i wouldnt pick a hull just becuase it had a quick turning/slow turning speed...i use viking+rail, both which have a slowish turing speed, but then again, that is good becuase i get a better aim. But any weapon can be used with about any hull, take freeze for example, people use it with hornet, with viking and with mammoth, and it works with them all(as long as the player is good).

I would consider that the Hornet and the Viking can rotate quickly. Viking between 110-150 and Hornet 140-200. Mammoth (80-100) is slow but it has the protection to save it.

Also Freeze 83.1-146.1 is relatively quick compared to other turrets. Eg. Thunder 45.8-91.7

I haven't used any of these turrets or hulls because of my rank but looking at their attributes, i would have to disagree with you in terms of what has slow and fast rotating velocities.

I'm not saying that you should only pick your hull and turret combination because of the rotating velocity but it's one factor to think about. As it all depends on your battle style. Different battling styles require different attributes. Surely? This is the logic i'm going with anyway.

thats, true i forgot to say that it all depends on your playing style, if you have freeze/firebird and are defensive then you could use it with mammoth/titan, and you coul also use it with hornet/wasp if you were attackive. so it all depends on what you like, but i have to say that i have never looked at the rotation speed as anything which would make me more want it or less want the hull.

Exactly it...Viking has no cons! :-)

It is a better investment than Dictator, which is a dead-end hull...you don't see any respectable Marshalls sporting Dictator, do you?
