m3 can kill a m3 viking and m2 mammoth in one shot m2 shaft cant, it takes a full shot and a quick tap to kill a m3 viking

Damage isn't the issue you should be interested in, turn rate and recharge times is why you m-3 damage is just the icing on the cake.

I don't think it is worth it, now at least. It just isn't as good as when the shaft was out before the change. I just think that is it too weak now, but that may just be me.

shaft m3 dominates any tank anyday as long as you know how to use it. i own m3 shaft and it rocks :twisted:

Depends what you mean by "worth it". If you are asking whether Shaft M3 will pay you back 21,600 crystals which M2 Shaft wouldn't give you.... I think that it'd take you a long time for that to happen. But at the same time, nothing in tanki is worth it. If we all bothered about what was worth it, everyone would be using M3 Twins and M0 Viking until they got to Marshal. You have to buy things that aren't "worth it" in tanki to get yourself up to a reasonable level. Shaft M3 is not worth it in the way that it will pay you back 21,600 crystals that Shaft M2 would not give you. But Shaft M3 is worth it in the way that it's a heck of a lot better than Shaft M2 and will give you far more enjoyment and respect than M2 would.

Every tier 2 pays back in a long time, since they cost quite a lot. With the latest update Shaft gets a good advantage since every kill is 10 points, Shaft M3 usually is the best killer, so in long battles you may end up in first place. When I want to relax I get my Shaft M3, put on some good jazz, a coffee, and sit there killing everyone. Obvious M3 > M2 is obvious.
