For the previous contest, the judges were reporters from the Russian community. This was at the request of the English reporter team, who were originally planned to be the judges. I, for one, will refuse to judge this contest because I know about 30% of the entrants' personality, and I am sure that the majority of the English Reporter team will be the same and refuse to judge the contest if we are asked to judge it: those who, if they are asked to judge it, will agree to do so will be because they feel themselves capable to judge without bias. And there is absolutely no chance of chriswu being involved in the judging.

 

FYI, he was already a reporter when he entered the contest, only without an avatar. He asked Les for explicit permission whether he was allowed to enter, and was permitted.

 

P.S. FBI, unless you have hardcore proof of the "Best of May" contest being rigged, please don't suggest that it was. Nobody takes people who make judgements without any foundation for their judgements seriously. It is very easy for a member of the staff to have got the most liked comment on the feedback, as it is for that amount of crystals to be picked up in the amount of time if people put their entire heart and soul into it non-stop.

Yeah :P Also I'm pretty sure the panel of judges would be MORE than one. So they would have to AGREE with each other.

I thought collecting crystals instead of helping your team is called 'sabotage', and you get punished for that, instead of winning a mouse. :shock: Obviously, I am wrong.

And, I am not the only one that thought the 'Best of May' was rigged...

I always wonder how many of those players are the secondary accounts of the people who work for Tanki. :mrgreen:

If chriswu DOES earn himself a prize, how will that be unfair? Everyone who has and will enter this contest will be judged fairly (unless they cause unnecessary problems). If chris wins, it means that his work is better than those who didn't. Being a member of our staff will not incline us to "make him win."

 

This contest was made with the intention to gauge the skill levels of the various Photoshop users in our community. We do not want the 'best of the worst' to be on our team.

 

Any further public discussion of anything pertaining to this topic will give the judges a bad opinion of you.
