so now i can report hackers or anyone don't follow the rules with this chat command?

use this command too.

But for it works , need half +1 of tank in battle report the same name and a moderator is online in same server; This way he will check what is happen;

Or you can make screen shot or /and video and come in this forum and report them.

The only problem I think will be> If a group pf pals or friends tries to take a revenge on someone.

Forget it lol...

When a tankman is reported , need a moderator be online in that server and he will check the problem.

- Username of the offender can be copied from the event log of battle at the top right corner of the interface. For this, it is necessary to press the left mouse button while holding down CTRL.

Cool !

Is the command /vote or / vote ? When mentioning it you've used / vote in the text but /vote in the image.

/vote nickname

exemple:

/vote Shocker_33

I agree with this. I think the announcement should come up every time you log in for a while, like the Gold box 200/300/400/500 announcement did.

+1

So cool. I have many times left the battle to report, only to realize that by leaving, I lose my standing in that battle. But, for the greater good of having that person busted it was necessary to get that info to our moderator while the offending party was still present in that battle.

I would like to now thank our very hard working moderator, MizARee! She is kind, fair and extremely hard working........please give her a raise!

p.s. I SO wish there would be a way to communicate with my fellow players that don't speak english when it is time to report an offender in battle so we meet the 50% plus 1 requirement. Maybe there is a way to get a universal "sign language" during battle that a /vote is necessary ? Also, will the offending party be aware that they are being reported? I always tell them I am reporting and again I tell them and ask if they understand and finish by saying we don't want cheaters on server 2.

thanks for all your hard work! I am one of your OLD players, 58 yrs old , a "noob", and I really have fun playing Tanki Online!

I think it's a great idea but, I don't think it will work that well. Getting 50% of a battle's participants to vote on a cheater is too much - at least initially. In the beginning I think a lot of people will mess it up, since it's already confusing as it was posted; is it:

1) "/ votename_of_offender" or

2) "/ vote name_of_offender" or

3) "/votename_of_offender" or

4) "/vote name_of_offender"?

Plus, some player's may not have the cheater or view, or be too inexperienced to understand what they're looking at, not to mention that some player's just won't care.

I would think 30% of a battle's participant voting another player(s) should be enough to red-flag a contest. :?

@Cathy95820 Cool :) I'm 52! ;) ..and we've played together a few times, while I was using my only other login: "Stryker22"

I thought we were friends but you shot me the last time we played! lol

Stryker22/UNCP2

[Edit: PS: I think that's a great idea Cathy95820. Maybe a common punctuation mark that's used by all of the supported languages in TankiOnline, even if it isn't used to mean the same thing - just so long as the same symbol that any of us can type.]

Good idea but too high trashhold. 3 complaints should be enough to pay mods attention.

Try also with some tool to monitor cheater when complaints come or do some special "switch" like "/ cheat" or somethink like that. Would be better.

Would be also good if you do "Hall of shame" wer you need to put all banned cheater too be seen coment what kind of ban and duration of it they are punished with.

This is very nice, but,I would like to suggest another small change-When you complain, let it be logged in the persons profile, not only for as long as he/her remains in battle, but forever, until a moderator can check the person out...

It seems kind of hard to get someone banned for being a rule breaker. No players can leave, 50% have to say yes when they COULD be protecting that player, and there has to be a moderator on that server? I'd surly be trying for a while. If this feature would be recorded without a moderator, it would be a lot easier. I also don't think that canceling the vote when a player leaves is right. The vote should still continue. What if the rule breaker leaves during or after the vote? Will the mods still see him and ban him, or will he get away? It is a good idea, but it could still use some sprucing up.

Yes, I agree.

If someone leaves it's probably because of the offender anyway.

This is a good feature, but it can be tweaked:

1. The vote should remain for as long as the offender remains unchecked by a moderator, and should not change if offender leaves the battle.

2. It needs to be more common knowledge or else most players won't know to use the /vote feature, it should be more directly advertised.

3. For now the 50% majority should be reduced to 25% while it is still not common knowledge.

4. Moderator should not HAVE to be on the exact server to respond, he should get a notification of offensive activities and have the ability to join the battle from that notification.

I really don't see this being to effective..But its a step

Dude i used it in this one battle, and all it took was 3 votes (probly more) for the hacker to get kicked

but does this feature work if a player is banned in chat?
