Slowly increasing health?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I had this idea that it would be good if the healthbaar slowly increases when you're damaged, like it does in many action-games.

If so, it should take a while and not go too fast... like if your left with 50% health left and take cover, it should take like 1 minute maybe before its full again.

How does this sound?

Personally I think its a little boring that if youre once damaged, like early in a life, its like I just give up to get a new life. This would make me still feel I can engage in battle without having to wait to die or hoping to find a medicpack (but you may have medic packs ofc as your tools)...

This thing will make all the drugs useless...

You can still do them for fun I suppose.

But seriously, it should go very slow. using medic-packs should not be unnecessary. Medic-packs could still be used to save yourself if you're taking hits or just to quickly be able to go out in battle. Otherwise you would have to wait for a while.

Maybe it can be done. But IMO if this goes into the game, the battle creators should be able to choose if this feature will be on or off...

For example:

I create a game - Silence II CTF, with autobalance, 15 min limit, 10 flags and next to that option there is an option 'Health-something'.Next to it there is a checkbox (square) - I don't put a tick in it.

You create a game - Polygon DM, 200 kills limit, 20 min, and you put a tick in the checkbox 'Health-something'

So, my battle will be the same as the current battles.

Your battle will have that health option which means all the tanks in it will be self-healed from a time to time, or healed very slowly, but constantly.

So, maybe yes.
