AvenTis is correct. If you join games with a large rank spectrum that allow for generals (4 stars) and marshals (star with a yellow circle around it) as well as privates and sergeants then you risk them coming in and taking the crystal stack. Become familiar with the rank system so that you can figure out which games you can be competitive in. All of that information is available to you in the game preview screen on the right in the battle window, once you click on a game.

 

It also makes it much easier for you to both

 

1. earn crystals by playing like players with like skills and like guns AND

2. Rank up

I love how the date keeps moving backwards from Fall to December to Late January to possibly February. I am starting to think this is a joke the russians are playing on us just to see us beg to have our crystals returned and make pointless threads.

 

this is a common thing among developers to keep on delaying deadlines or extending server downtimes. they only want to make 2.0 as perfect as possible, but obviously this isn't possible. i just wish that they would release 2.0 with all of the major changes and just issue patches from time to time to keep us hooked on this game instead of disappointed of Fall-->December-->January-->...

This new version looks really good' date=' but will there be a way to download the client for slow computers? because i have a laptop (3gb ram+1.60GHz processor) and it laggs a bit when there's a lot of players in the game, so if the game was downloaded am sure that it wouldn't lag as much, and i know it wouln't because of another game i play (it has wicked 3D graphics) and it laggs a bit when i play from the browser but not when i play it from the downloaded version.[/quote']

 

1.60 GHz processor is not a very up-to-date CPU unless we are talking about Core2Dou series or the latest i3 i5 i7 Series from Intel. I am guessing it's a P4 family model... Available RAM memory is not too important in this case. Read my post on the first page of this topic regarding this. Maybe that will help you. Bottom line is that i think you need a more modern CPU :D

well mines 3.2 Ghz duo processor hi tech mac with a 300gb hard drive and a ram that loads everythin instantly and a server that holds a 1000gb pretty much in the air.

The shadows are not dynamic. Like the new models of Persia, the shadow is not calculated realtime. There will be a lightmap blended with the diffuse map with multiply ( Black and white lightmap * diffuse map /255) algorithm. And because there is a setting for the level of details, tankionline 2.0 will be faster than version 1 !!!

 

Yes, tankionline 2.0 will consume more memory, if the option to do the lighting is on, but it never means it will require more proccesing power. The camera shaking, has nothing to do with slowing things down! So does the night and day conditions!

 

Do not spread these rumers about game speed.

adobe reader is for viewing PDF files :lol: i guess you are talking about adobe flash player :XD: the answer is: you allways need newest version of it to be sure that the game will allways work.

Could be good, currently on core i7 is is playable quite fine (about 40 fps), but on core2quad (q6600 with 8 gb ram) it is close to unplayable, sometimes just 10-15 fps on some maps...

 

Perhaps the new version would be well playable also on core2duos/core2quads .... too bad it is in flash and thus have no GPU acceleration
