Mismanaged english clans and teams section

Hi,

I would like to bring to notice the mismanagement of the english clans and teams section. There are a number of teams and clans who are as good as non existent or just full of trollers and newbies. The sticky'ing of a few clan topics helped us identify the difference between serious and non-serious clans. However, now it's all a mess and everything is haphazardly done.

 

Like always, the moderator responsible for managing that section of the forum is trying to follow the russian section (the recent de-sticky'ing of clans due to capture the maps). However, we should also see how well the forum is managed. Firstly, there are no country teams in the forum. Secondly, no non-serious clans survive more than a few hours. Lastly, since there is no "Capture the maps" for english section, there is no way for people to identify the most active/serious clans.

 

All I would like to say is that, if you want to follow the russian section, try to follow it completely and not just what pleases you. :x

I understand your concern with this as your clan was one of the few that were stciky'd although being sticky was in no way officially as being one of the top clan in the English section as we never had rated clans.

 

Nor have we had a clan tournament among ourselves to determine which clans get sticky'd. Being in the top 8 clans was not about being active it was about being the best. It was probably a mistake to sticky clans in the first place without proper measures.

As for the capture the maps, As far as we are told there will be one for the English section as well. But until then in case of a clan tournament taking place the top 8 clans will be stickied.

 

I agree that I am mostly responsible for the English clan section but mass-decisions like these are not taken without discussing it with other moderators first.

Welcome to this topic, dear gamers!

We closed the Forum just for one day and managed to do a lot. Now each language version of the game has its own forum. Any tankman or tankwoman will be redirected to the language version appropriate for them. Let me remind you that now we have Russian, English and German versions of the game and forum.

Another new feature to be introduced is current rank icon which is now placed by your nickname. We think that this will help to embellish our discussions.

We often think about how to make "Tanki Online" more fun to play with friends. And in the release 1.104.0 we made a small step in that direction.

Now in the game you can get more TDM experience points and crystals to the battle fund for being a team player. Let me explain how this works.

Now, if you destroy an enemy tank and do it alone, you will get 10 experience points and a certain number of crystals in the battle fund. Remember how annoying it happened when your kill was stolen by someone else. Your time and efforts went in vain, and all the award went to the other player.

Now everything is different. If the enemy is destroyed by several allies in your team, they will share 15 points of experience, and get 50% more crystals to the fund for this kill. Also now it does not matter who finishes the opponent. All points are shared between the parties on the amount of damage that they caused.

 

Tank A and Tank B to attack Tank C, which is why it starts to cost 15 points. After Tank C has gone to spawn the server calculates the ratio of damage inflicted by the allies. Lets suppose that Tank A caused 80% damage, and Tank B 20%. Then the first will receive 12 experience points, and the other 3 points.

 

Thus TDM can now become a very attractive game mode for those who play with friends. Get together in groups of friends and hurry to battle!

Wow, that's a big improvement and i really appreciate that but what about CTF.

This is the thing I posted in FAQ, I already had this bonus exp thing happen to me in a TDM about a week ago

I like this very much, although there is the fact that now I'd like to leave enemies on 1hp in TDMs so that I could get 14 points when a teammate kills them rather than 10 if I kill them myself... I think there's a problem there, how about just dividing 10 points up between the people rather than 15? I see no problem in that.

I think it is good though, but I would NEVER want to see this in CTF or CP.

I have some problems and I can not go into battle. The game is always thinking and does not enter the battle. What can I do? Help me please

My friend has the same problem now... :huh: You can:

1. Update the flash player.

2. Delete the browsing data (cache, history etc.)

3. Try Standalone flash player.

Why is it that EVERYTIME I use Chrome, gameplay is affected (tanks suddenly move in 1 direction, turrets spin slowly, power ups don't function, etc.)???

I CONSTANTLY must refresh the browser and everything's ok for a few minutes then it's back to the same problem. My FPS ranges 25-35 and I turn off EVERYTHING in the settings (shadows, battle chat, etc.). I've already read the so called "fix" about deleting the ineffective shockwave application, and I am NOT downloading or running other programs while playing tankionline. I've got a good signal.

 

Don't tell me to use Firefox or IE, it's worse.

haha it happen to me so i stop using Chrome. I don't know what kind of computer but i have a mac so i try Opera but it fail then i use safari but is very slow even i clear my cache memory ect. so i Download Camino browser and is more faster and simple. when i play it it only take like 1 minute to enter to the battle. Ohh some suggestions don't use to many Bookmarks because the browser may thing they are running and it will crash it happen to me only 2 times because i was running other programs while playing. With this browser you may have lag just like you experience with Chrome but it goes in 3 seconds i like it because you could take avantage of that and take the flag. But i like it is very fast. try it. :fire_l:

yeah..same hre too......Chrome is the best (in terms of speed and functionality), but it sucks anyway.......and Firefox, couldnt agree mre..much worse...even thn explorer.

Hey btw, i think "camino" works only in Mac...couldnt download it..

Your probably lagging. No offense, but IE is better. When i use IE, i load in like, 10 seconds. Not exageratting. Its because i make my cache memory 850. Chrome cant change that. It use to happen to me once in a while.

2) If you think you can do a better job as moderator, then request a position.
