I have an idea of a new weapon.

It aint a saw weapon nor a torpido, just an extension to the current smoky!

 

Well all the guns here are kinda the same, they hit whatever the nearest object, The dont specify DISTANCE, whitch are never the case in the real world.

I mean there could be a gun allowing the user to specify the distance the missle is gonna aim(maybe by the amount of time you keep pressing spacebar!).

The weapon is going to be massivly destructive hitting any tanks near to the hit space.

 

i try to demontrate it using aftereffects latter!!!

why dont your score go up even when you hit a tank ? your there blasting away hittin them no score some hits them on there final health and gets the points ,this shud be that everytime you hit them you at least score makes your hard work worth something ,and stopoes you getting ripped of by this system you have which is a unfair way.it could also go as for every 1000 points you can either have the points or trade them for crystals .good idea or not .tell me what you think .

This has been discussed multiple times over at the russian-language section. Why do you only get a frag for a kill ion Counter-Strike, Quake and virtually any other shooter game? Because otherwise there would be no motivation to kill the enemy as you could earn much bigger points by just shooting at random into a group of tanks.

 

Learn to follow the enemy and to finish them, there will be no score for the job that's done half-way.

A few issues i have found.

 

1. The rank system seems to be off. once you hit the first master rank you are removed from lower level teir play and put into a upper level tier which you go from being able to atleast hold your own, to getting 1 shotted constantly. And games are filled with people who out rank you by 3-5 steps. A Mater Corporal should not be in the same game as a 4 star General, or at least not restricted to such games.

2. The invulnerability bug is abit cumbersome and annoying. Spawn protection should not last more then a specific amount of time, anything beyond that amount of time should result in a suicide.

3. Earlier today, I started a new char and began to really try to build a nice account. After spending 50 minutes in my first FFA game and winning it, i lagged out about 2 minutes after the game ended. I lost all the awarded crystals from that game but all the experience gained stayed. And I mean ALL awarded crystals, even crystals awarded from crates. MAJOR bug there.

4. Again with the rank system, i don't know if you recently changed it or what but last week there were people in newbie games with twins and at the twins rank you get thrown out of newbies?!?!?

5. Twins damage system is way off. Firebird vs Twins, Firebird wins every time. Twins are fast yes but Twins out rank Firebird by 2 steps, the available damage should reflect the rank just like the Fear Machine.

6. Lastly, an opinion on the tanks them selves. You have 4 tank bases. As you unlock more bases the available HP goes up with a severe speed decrease as a penalty, then you get to the Dictator which is faster, more agil, and had more hp then any of the prior 3. This is a bit off base. In theory the lower tanks should have the ability to be upgraded to the point to where they are better then the Dictator in some ways. For example, the Wasp should be a great deal faster then the Dictator, and the Titan should have near double its available hp. Now i have not played enough to see the final upgrades on all items, but, from the tier system I have seen, the steps are far to gradual for it to be equal later on.

7. And is there any chance on getting a US based server for tanki? What if a server was provided, what system requirements would be needed?

Actually:

1-the rank system welcome begginers quite ok since it lets them get up so fast and enjoy the game.The are custom limitations on ranks when creating a battle already!

2-i didnt really caught that but the effect is gone after 30 seconds anyway/

3-i have earned 7200 crystals, so you'll soon, loosing that little crystals is actually bothing important(as i loose in that manner more than anyone else!)the game is in betta, so no complaints on the bugs

4- :?:

5-an M3 twin can without any problems kill two 120 armored tanks. without any difficulties i repeat, a "twins" can beat 4 fearmachine tanks.there is going to be a turtorial i am working on just how to do that!

6-the first tank will serve you well in the first 8 ranks.As The master AXE did, he has a high ratio due to choosing wasp m3 for all the games at the beggining and moving over to dictator latter on in the game.

something is severely screwed up on the crystals. I jsut won 2, stayed and played another round and won 4. noticed i had 14 so the original 2 were missing. so for the sake of it, i logged off and back on again and yup the 4 crystals i had in my bank were missing. so for today ive lost 43 crystals i rightly earned because my bank will not retain any crystals. This is a bug and there needs to be a ticket on it.

Im not earning any crystals thats the problem. When I get them they are taken away.

are you sure you are not confusing the battle bank with the number of crystalls you earn? The two are distinguished from one another in the FAQ, battle bank gets split among all the fighters according to their points in the battle.

I remember at the beggining of this game if i am right there was such a thing, or maybe i am even thinking wrong, but yeah, i have loads of extra items that well need to be sold out, even with a reall low price.

 

But right now the twin shouted while watching MAN UTD loosing, "it could be good if we had a shop for used cars! like need for speed 5".

Why ever not? what if Axe wanted to sell his popular old wasp for 100 crystals to a new commer? It would well be appritiated by many others i think!

I would like to suggest the new way of vision. Right now it is possible to have third person view, which is nice, but I really could not use smoky without first person view. Sorry if it was already discussed. Regards. Yeah and I agree about "used cars shop":) I have a few items to sell...

There are grasses in the game, witch are rendered as kinda 2.5 objects. But the technique best works in conjunction with 3D models.

A 3D object of the grass could exist there, and after the camera is far enough from the grass, they can be changed to 2D object rendered from a static render from the real 3d object.

You know, i saw a same feature in an other engine, like this, both the performance and the best graphical look are achieved.

Also when you collect a box like NOS it would be cool to also see how long it lasts, so maybe you can use the icons like you do to show how much is left, but a different colour for the box pick-up ones, to indicate how long your pick up will last

I like the new health and weapon bar, but it needs to have the colour of the team your playing for on the bar too, maybe the background so you know which team your playing for as, in the heat of battle it becomes a little confusing

 

 

YES its great but how do we know who the other team are, as that would mean we will be shooting at everything that moves,

This is to reply to the wrongly message posted at the " Developers Missions & Plans" Topic.

 

As December 09, Adobe hasn't announced fully hardware acceleration support for Adobe's Flash Player™. but rumors are just to keep up with other web based 3d players like Unity3d and Google's O3D, Flash Player may have itself processing by your graphics cards instead of only your CPU in the future.

 

All these means , though the suggestions look mind blowing, they are not yet practical due to flash player's performance restrictions.

But the developers could of course, if they think it's logical, think of some of these graphical improvements as an OPTION to the game. so everyone with lower CPUs, could easily switch them off.
