point 1 I agree for a credit listing but crystals for and idea will just make noobs flood all things to do with ideas.

 

point 2 yes you understand my point of sniping if you can see you're opponent and you should be able to adjust you're shot its so annoying on ftknox 123 and silence not be able to hit a tank just be cause youre a keystroke of distance too far away allow us to raise our turrets pls.

 

point 3 hmm like a king of the hill i like that idea all players would need team p to kill emporer otherwise no one will kill the drugger no health drugs just other drugs but i do like the idea a lot.

 

thier is a discussion going on about a nda with the game creators to be able to make maps with thierr editor although its not telling alot you shold check it out if yo are a good mapmaker

1. True, though the 1000 crystals/entry price would deter a lot.

1: Well, at least a paint job. Or our callsign appearing on the map somewhere, or even just a listing somewhere on the site or in the credits, as long as there is some way it would let OTHER people know we contributed. :wink: Hmm...I wonder if koolwalky could tell me how to access...I've built levels for homebrew video games (using a game creation program), so I know I could code some pretty awesome stuff.

 

2: Agreed. It's rather obnoxious, esp. with "sniping" weapons like the smoky and railgun and "melee" weapons like freeze and firebird (disclaimer: I only have personal experience with smoky and firebird, the others come from discussions with other tanki players).

 

3: How about a new game mode, "Emperor". The first player to join becomes Emperor and has a permanent boost of all drugs. (He's also the only one who can pick up crystal crates.) The other players all try to be the one to kill the Emperor; the player who kills the Emperor earns double points for the kill and becomes emperor him/herself. This goes on until time runs out or one player gets a certain number of kills as Emperor. Of course, the other players can kill each other to rob the Emperor of kills and to have a better shot (pun intended) of killing and becoming the Emperor. What do you think?

 

1: Koolwalky is not a mapmaker, he is a moderator. There is a difference. PhantomMeat is one of the mapmakers. To get the mapmaking program email help@tankionline.com and ask about it.

 

2: No. Moving turret direction will OP some weapons such as richochet and limit weps like freeze and fire. So no, use what we have at the moment, and learn how to use the up-down like there is at the moment in tanki.

 

3: No. The only reasonable suggestion for a new gamemode was the one where you had to kill the enemies' base to win. Other than that, I haven't seen any good ones and this emporor one is, no offence, useless. I don't see the point for it.

point 2 overpower fire and freeze? :lol: freeze itself is overpowered im talking a slight raise/lowering ontop of the automatic adjusting not replace it. i am proficent with the up down targeting but its just falls short at some place where it should be possible to hit the target and not miss due to tank not postioned right turret shold be postional for vertical shots for all weapons to raise. i.e on the small slope at silence and its adjacent ledge. fire freeze twins isdia will be benifited and of course thunder smokey rail rico will too with the long/medium range attack.

2. Uhh, are you serious? Look, if nothing else, the auto targeting system needs to allow more vertical tracking. As it is right now, there are several spots on maps where players are literally untouchable, but they can snipe players on the other team at will with no risk to themselves. Not cool. And as for OP'ing weapons, let me point out that, like turret rotation (and even the guns themselves), they are only useful IF the player knows how to use them properly. Any weapon can be overpowered in the right hands, any weapon can be underpowered in the wrong ones. Allowing vertical control (provided it is on ALL turrets) would not change that. End of story.

 

3. The mode I suggested has been successfully implemented in several other First-Person shooter games, under different names. Probably the best-known would be the "Jedi" mode from the multiplayer portion of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. One player would get the lightsaber and have access to Force powers, while the other players had to use normal weapons to fight him and each other to claim the lightsaber for themselves. The point? To have FUN and become the champion. Simple as that.

point 3 starwars? well anyway yes many games have a similar fuction. the function in tanki would maybe be like this¿...

 

ex. in map highland the the players join until a set ammount of players join and a player is then randomly chosen as "emporer" same as some king of the hill games" said player then gets all power ups minus health then that player is scored by how long he is emporer until killed. no points given for killing other

tanks while drugged to be fair. and player that kills "emporer" will get points for de-throne-ing him and now becoming "emporer". that would be a goodgame mode in tanki any thoughts anyone?

maybe the ability to intercept enemy shots with your own like if a twins shoots at u, if u r accurate enough, u can intercept their shots.

 

hope this idea makes it.

erhm a bad word in my language. maybe they mean somethin else anyway i like the idea. fire meets freeze it could halven the damage done to the tank/tanks being shot by both. but i don't think smokey or thunder have a actual solid projectile. also railgun couldn't be stopped nor isdia they are lasers well rail is plasma but which ever. that just my thoughts.

You got that from games like Battlefield 2, Battlefied 1942/3 and like certain call of duty games. There is a reason they have isida in the game with railgun etc

yea, so it only works with certain guns like fire, freeze, ric, and twins. not with the other guns, like u mentioned. but I was thinking about the fire and freeze if they were to try to intercept each other, the fire would melt the freeze, so eventually the fire will melt through the freeze and start damaging the tank using freeze. But, the m (upgrade) lvl should also be taken into consideration. so if a

m3 freeze was to try to intercept a m0 fire (which won't happen), then the freeze would eventually make uit through. if the m (upgrade) lvl of both weapons were the same, then the fire would make it through. so depending on the m (upgrade) lvl of each weapon, each one will eventually make it through to the other 1.

 

I have another idea, but it's like a shield, a drug, so u can get it in the daily bonus. it is a shield that lasts 5 secs that can also deflect the shot back. It would be called reflector.

 

Another idea i have is a drug that can make you turn invisible. it would last 30sec and can also let u go through other tanks, but not other items. It would be called stealth.

never mind about that swear word of your language.

@ somebody seems reasonable with twins rico fire freeze.

 

ive heard their will be an adaptive camoflauge in 2.0 at some point.

 

i like the idea of the reflective armor but sit could bounce what ever weapon has hit you to the nearest enemy. although duration of use and recharge time may need tweeking.

 

also mods do something abot the post above me seems racist.

why dont your score go up even when you hit a tank ? your there blasting away hittin them no score some hits them on there final health and gets the points ' date='this shud be that everytime you hit them you at least score makes your hard work worth something ,and stopoes you getting ripped of by this system you have which is a unfair way.it could also go as for every 1000 points you can either have the points or trade them for crystals .good idea or not .tell me what you think .[/quote']

 

It has been explained why not, in the post after this, but what if, there was a damage counter, or something like that... It would be great! You wouldn't recieve anything for it, but the damge appearing would be in the game scores, or in the Highscores... I think that this would be GREAT...

Well, first of all it'll be kinda unfair to the person who has low health on the other team because everyone would be single-targeting him/her. And also you don't need to look at the enemy's health bar if you know how many shots they die using your turret.

C'mon, i'm appalled tanki haven't made this yet: an automatic ban when someone says a swear word. C'mon tanki, this isn't a hard thing to make, is it?

no but this is what will happen' ex

player ignorant has been banned 5 min for profanity he typed f word.

so now he comes back from ban and types this ff#ccc1< same thing. but auto ban wont catch this. its basically like this apple appplee appllle apppllllee we all know what it is if apple were a curseword but the autoban wouldn't.

sorry for double post but i wanted this suggestion seperate.

 

in 2.0 their will be a rep system, so how about if we can see who is the best at each seperate rank? example the ranking of all warrant officer 1's this way any player can compare how his skills are to all others in the same rank.
