Map Maker?

Hi

Im fairly new to tanki online Im only a First Sergeant.

And I am just being told of a map maker.

I know this may not belong in general, but is it a downloadable system?

Does it cost any money?

And are their requirements on anything about them?

I would like to know so I can maybe make some maps.

If it is not possible, I am fine with that but can someone please tell me about this?

you can find the download for Alternativa Editor(program used to make maps) here, and TanksTestingTool(program used to test maps, you also need to to make maps) here, you can find instructions on how to use them both here.

 

They are both free, all you need to do is download the program and follow the instructions on the FAQ.

If you want to become a mapmaker(someone who makes maps which tanki uses) you need to PM/email a Mapmaker/developer, and ask them to become one, and it would be a good idea to provide a example of your work.

OP, what Cheese said.Download those programs, follow the instructions and make a map.Then save it in .xml and send it to a map maker.

He will tell you what to do.

Currently it seems the TankiOnline team is not accepting new maps?

For, there hasn't been a new map in a very very long time!

 

But it doesn't hurt to try, so try away my friend :-)
