Medic tank is trying to help you and the others with the same problem.

 

He is trying to explain to you: part of the problem is the PING. It is time that the information takes from your PC to the server.

But, by some reason, the server is slow to respond back. Thats why you have lag.

 

In the xat, i talked with others players with the same problem. They had a good connection (20MB), using mac, but with lag. I had the same problem before and was not my connection, PC, browser or whatever. Was the server.

 

Now, I could play normally. But 3 days ago, i could not.

Hello again!

 

I tried upgrading to latest version of Flash:

Flash 11.3.300.270

PROBLEM STILL OCCURS!

 

I will try downgrading to an earlier version and see if that helps....

OK, I have conducted testing with the following Browsers and Flash versions, and the problem STILL persists:

 

Firefox 14.0.1

Opera 12.01

Iron 20.0.1150.1 (this is the same as the latest version of Chrome)

 

Flash Player 10.3.183.20

Flash Player 11.3.300.268

Flash Player 11.3.300.270

 

After about 4-5 minutes of playing, tanks spin around and I am not connected to the game, even though network traffic is still sent/received to/from the server.

 

This problem makes Tanki unplayable for me.

I shall stop playing the game, and come back in a week or two, and see if the problem is fixed.

A lot of lag, drop down FPS, and freezing between the battle is going on.

 

This abnormal behavior is occurring since 1 day.

I tried to fix Chrome things as suggested in Blog Post, but no solution.

 

Is there any solution to this problem? Please help.

I am unable to play in a battle, it keeps freezing, I reload it.

I dont think you guys get what "our lag" is here:

It is not low fps or a moment of freezing to then go back to normal...

For me it is like this:

I enter a battle like Dusseldorf with 30 players...

window loads... i see battle map... maybe i see my tank appearing full and can drive a few meters but then... ALL others start to spin in circles and i can just drive around the map seeing others spinning... unable to pick up any boxes, unable to even damage myself (with thunder)... i can wait 5 mins, 10 mins... reload finally.... get back into the battle... my tank now is only semi transparent and the others start to spin around again...

And this happens after 1 second to 1 minute for me after entering a battle with more than 10 players... I am able to play 8 player maps like Sandbox or Farm normal with full 60 fps and all fine...

Freeze means the game stops working normally, other players stops moving normally, but you can move though. Abnormal behavior of game.

Not necessarily the way I learnt it.

Freeze is when everything freezes, including your tank, hence the name.

Lag can mean three things:-

• 1. Drop in FPS, and everything becomes jerky.

• 2. Your tank can move, but everyone else's is spinning their tank or their turret, so just going around in circles.

• 3. it can also be when your tank is spinning uncontrollably.

The big maps I can't play on because in 1 minute it will lag and freeze forever and my fps is over 50. The small maps like like Sandbox I can play on -_-

It's classic, the first map you play on. I don't like big maps, I get lost. I got lost in Iran the first time I went there -_-.

Oh maybe it was Boombox. I never really liked it, and when I was a low rank I hated that Short Bridge. All of the battles were in the map. Oh the agony!

But I prefer Sandbox, Sandbox FTW! (BTW the first word of the abbreviation is 'for'.)

 

Back t topic, the lag is NOW hitting me, just when I need 4k/10 to rank!

@Sel Hm...At the moment the 'battles for newbies' are in Sandbox only.

BTW, you should hurry up to rank up, so you will be able to join the Wasp+Rail battles (the limit is WO5).

 

About the lag - have you ever seen this?Not sure what it is, lag, or something.But it's scary...

I won't hurry up, I'm on holiday that week, and no, I have never seen that before, but now that you mention it, it is quite... odd.

And JUST realised, a way to check if the battle you are entering will lag the minute you get in is if the battle fund does not change. A standard battle's fund will increase every say ten seconds, but if it does not, you're in trouble...

And anyway, I hate that combo. Rails are always cowards, WO1 or Marshal.

But most importantly, I haven't upgraded Wasp, and my Railgun is M1. I wasted 500 crystals...

I would have had M1 Vik if it wasn't for that.
