I am wondering what happens if both players choose the same map' date=' will that map be played than?[/quote']

if both players are happy to play the same map they chosen, then they will play it. Otherwise read the rules of "how to chose the map between players."

Lets discuss this tournament

P.S. This is not the topic where you put your application. Applications will be allowed to post in the main topic <<-- (click) on Monday 13 of August.

Players who wil send applications in this topic and in PM to me, will not be counted, have a patience and wait till Monday :)

The Main Topic (click) will be open on Monday 13 of August at 16:00 GMT time to collect applications. Post your application in the main topic.

*sigh* - it starts again - people trying to register in here.

There are about 6 statements in the above quote emphasising that THIS DISCUSSION TOPIC IS NOT WHERE YOU REGISTER.

How about a new rule: people that try to register in the discussion forum are blocked from the tournament?

If they can't read, then it's certain that they'll mess-up the battle set ups anyway.

Maybe this will encourage them to learn to read.

Shouldn't it be like "The player with the highest amount of kills"?

No it shouldn't. This is done so that people who killed the most in the middle of the round will not self-destruct or stay on pause etc. to prevent being killed by the opponent

Sorry, but I don't understand this logic saying that deaths and kills are somehow different:

Player A get's 1 kill. So player A = 0 death, player B = 1 death. Player A 'pauses' - and wins.

and

Player A get's 1 kill. So player A = 1 kill, player B = 0 kills. Player A 'pauses' - and wins.

How will 'death' counts change the game-play as opposed to 'kill' counts?

What's to stop

people who killed the most in the middle of the round self-destructing or staying on pause etc. to prevent being killed by the opponent
just because 'deaths' are being counted as opposed to 'kills'?

Well, I am not really sure how that pause thing works, cause I never use it, and I am not really sure that you are asking about that but-

If for instance, player A has 5 kills, and player B has 4. And presume that the main thing here that counts are kills. So imagine the situation, that player A (who is leading) gets shot by player B, not completely, but quite badly and player A has something like 10% of his HPs left. If he keeps playing it's a big risk to give another kill to the player B, because A is already injured and therefore player B would tie the score. So, it's the kills that matter, player A pushes delete, and after some time he has new tank with 100% hitpoints and he can continue with fresh tank and less risk. I know that this thing is kind of reduced as Railgun M3 can quite easily destroy Wasp M3, but you know, supplies or distance and other triffles makes the thing. It's simply not fair.

But it's just when the battles goes without pauses. What's with that? Can you just push P button every five minutes for the whole game? I honestly do not know, I would be glad if somebody explained this to me.

On the other hand, the contest might be a big flop as the registration issues when people are trying to register here and now continues. It's hard for younger players even to read the rules, probably because English is not their native language, so I imagine that there might be some difficulties when arranging battles as the responsibility comes to the players themselves. I hope I am wrong.

So, when I make my 3 kills, I start running and hiding, so he can't kill me.The battle ends, and I have less deaths - 0 deaths, so I win - this won't be fair. What will happen?

If you follow the rules which is written here then there is no problem. You are not allowed to stay on pause, rejoin etc. which will affect your statistics

If you read the rules carefully you will understand. As I say deaths and kills are different. Lets have an example:

Player A has 7 kills, Player B has 9 kills.

Player A has 9 deaths. Player B has 13 death.

Question is, why Player B has more deaths than Player A even though Player B killed the most?? Answer: Player B has self-destructed, refreshed the browser to prevent being killed by opponent each time when Player A has a clear shot to him. This is called unfair game. Thats why I count by deaths.

Yes.

Actually, you don't, it was stated somewhere, Tournaments just said it was a good way to contact your opponents.

If your opponent has skype and you don't, and if there will be a misunderstanding, failure to contact and no agreement etc. the balance of advantage will be on his side (the player who has skype)
