Reporting Hackers

So I was wondering if there's any actual way of reporting hackers... The vote feature is laughably ineffective, but the hacker threat is still as horrible as ever. Is there a more direct way of dealing with the issue, some way of telling a moderator via a pm perhaps?

 

Also, I know from having multiple accounts that the hacker threat drops a ton once you get to WO1, so many of you guys on the forum may not have seen a hacker in a while. But I can assure you that at lower ranks hackers are often more of an enemy than entire opposing teams. It's an issue that's been plaguing tanki for quite some time.

Make screenshot(s)/video(s) and post them in the Complaints section.

Then a Moderator will come, will check the proof, will ban the hacker for a month from the Forum and the Chat, and will send info about him to the Tech Support - they will ban him from the game.

Ok thanks! But how soon do they respond? It seems like the damage would already be done by the time all that could happen?

The Mods respond as soon as they can.

But as we have only 5 English Forum Mods, and only 2 of them respond in Complaints, and only 1 of them is actually here those days - our brave EddyBeGood, it will take some time.

Yes, the damage will be done.

 

There is another option - when you are in a battle, and see a player called PLAYER1234, open the Chat, pressing Enter, and write /vote PLAYER1234. Of course, if the name is different, you will change it.

If 25% of the players write this /vote PLAYER1234, a Mod will come in the battle and will ban the hacker.

Yeah I had known about the vote feature, but it never seems to work.. :( I think I'm the only one who ever uses it, even when i spam ./vote [hackingplayername] into chat.

You're right, the /vote feature is hardly ever applied, especially in the lower ranks battle.

 

I have suggested this many many times before, but I must repeat myself when I say that a big red Report Offender button should be placed in the battle!

It is easily more convenient, for everybody.
