Server ONLY for english players

Seriously, what's the problem guys? This is a Russian game, you should be happy they make it play worldwide and not making pointless complaints about the language problem, there are 3 possibilities:

-You learn Russian or,

-You keep playing this game without complaining or,

-You leave the game

Your turn, decide ;)

 

The first option is prime when you play many many games with Russians; eventually you can understand a few of the words, and you can even decipher their very alphabet after a while :mrgreen:

 

This game is teaching me a whole new language, that's something that Minions or World of Tanks cannot brag about.

The language doesnt matter... the fact is; its about time Tanki got some Geo servers. Almost all other games have Geo located servers. Currently there is a massive advantage to players located in Russia with regards to Ping. This means Russians clicking to enter games get in first. It also has an impact on game play and lag. The closer you are to the server, the faster the ping, no matter how fast ur computer or internet!

 

Locating a server in London, NY, LA and Tokyo would make a huge difference, its also simple to do....

^ True. Here in Vietnam, the connection to Russia is very bad! That is the reason why the tanks spin around forever and there is a lot of lag. MonkeyMagic's idea is very good. Servers around the world would help many people.

The gamemakers should do that it would be very nice to have a place to hang out with english players like you and my friend who like server 5... but there is one little thing... Tanki Onlie is a RUSIAN BASED game! It always used Moscow time haven't you noticed? And most players are russian.

Yes in order to have an English Server, then they would need to establish an AlternativaAmerica or AlternativaUK and place servers there for the English community...it is a lot of work and a lot of money to go into this, that's why for now you should just take up learning a bit of Russian (it's not that hard!)

 

And also be grateful for the fact that Tanki have acknowledged the English community at all...I mean for all that we know, we could still be begging for English Tanki alongside the Arabics :shock:

are you talking about an english server (as in the german one for 3 players) or an actual Geo server? Server space rental is one of the simplest things to do. There is no need to formulate a company in any given country to hire server space. As far as cost goes, Russia has some of the highest prices world wide for server rental.

i think yes. tankionline should make 20 server 10 for english and 10 for russian players :)

Даже при том, что резервуар онлайн - российская игра, мне жаль, что они действительно не имеют английского языка только серверами.

-developers make (part of) the game more english friendly, more english people join, and Tanki Online expands

Only the Chinese servers are seperated, as well as the domain name and the Forum.

the chinese server has russian as well. I tried, typing chinese in english keyboard is slow than typing english on english keyboard.

It was a plan to separate English and Russian in tanki 2.0. Now it wont happen.
