Tanki Online (in) problems

I don't see how it's helpful to develop the game.

Just disrespectful critical.

What about this 1.100.00 update then? All the updates are meant to develop the game, do you think they're bad?

 

And with every criticism comes a way to improve the game. People don't like how Tanki collects money? What about advertising on the billboards? Or making premium accounts? This is (partially) what the forum is for: making suggestions to improve the game.

Billboards are a good idea. they just sit there, blank, except on holidays. Tanki could make money of it, like many other games with adds.

Actually, a billboard with small ads on it would add a new flavor to the gameplay, it will give a sense of urban life in the battle, especially in town settings like Kungur or Berlin.

I have a habit of contributing $$$ to other sites. I know, it's not easy to maintain an online game.

I play online since 2003 and I always contributed to the others servers stay online.

 

But I see much wrong things here. Mults, untouchables insulters (as you can see), drugers, brave warriors, lags, freezes screen, etc.

 

So, i will contribute to have the same problems?

Thats why im not a buyer in tankionline. But Im a buyer in other games.

If its smaller ads that dont overwhelm you around every corner, that would be fine.

Small ads would do just fine on Tanki. many other websites have small ads in the corners and sides, this is just more creative.

tanki updates are just too minor...I NEEDZ NEW CONTENT NAOW that isnt some stupid shadow or a paint for ppl with forum avatars

 

also i keep getting spinning tanks, and sometimes the game is at less than 1 fps for some reason and i have to restart browser to fix it

 

Oh and abt the DCC....yes its completely random, but the devs can tinker with the chances of getting DCCs to make them appear more often, it will still be "completely random" since you can still be lucky and get less DCCs, but i trust the devs not to do such evil stuufffs to make quick cash. So for now tanki remains as a time-killer for meh when wot servers r down...mehh

 

edit: saw those posts abt billboards....they arent absolutely useless...on silence if ur on the big ramp (the one with the sniper tower) you can shoot the billboard with thunder to splash ppl campin on top of the ramp without even scatching ur fabulous paint

It would be nice to explain statements like this.

 

Of course they have their own shortcomings, but there are 3 core differences TO misses:

 

1. Every damage you cause to enemies in battle counts -- so "stealing kills" is impossible and meaningless -- everybody will be rewarded exactly for hes contribution, no "first, second etc" places, no square root distribution of fund.

 

2. If you encounter buyers in a game or loose a battle because your team is weak, you will loose only your time and even if you loose you get reward for damage you caused anyway -- in TO, if you loose or get robbed (very high possibility BTW) you get virtually nothing but your experience still accumulates. And if your experience accumulates faster than you can collect crystals you will be in a big trouble.

 

3. The only way to collect (virtual) money is causing damage to enemies, it means fighting for and with your team. In TO in almost every game you can see "players" who ONLY collect drop and some poor guys are trying to fight overwhelming enemies.

 

There is one thing I learned in TO -- how not to teamplay. At first, when I was new, I focused on fighting for the team as I used to and only later realized how wrong this approach was. The real game isn't CTF or TDM, the real came is CMC (Collect More Crystals).
