Picture this-

 

You swap through your tv, looking for a good program.

Luck isnt in your side so there is nothing intresting....

 

You get bored, so you turn on the pc and try to play tanki. you get bored after sometime.

 

Then you get a light bulb.... you watch a dramatic game of the marshals through the spec mode, eating pop corn!

A public spectator mode could be a good thing for clans and the likes.

 

But, it would defeat the purpose of live-streaming a match, the cybersport channel would soon cease to exist.

Yes, this would be a wonderful thing, and great entertainment for anyone, but I repeat myself when I say that it would put the live-streaming the matches out of business!

There will NEVER be given out spectator to people that do not need it for jobs within the staff. Spectator is the most powerful 'weapon' for people that will abuse it. Think of clan matches, where one person gives out information to his clan about the other clan, where they are heading, and where the flag is: Horribly!

 

The spectator mode will only be given out to people that have proven themselves for Tanki and have become a Staff member that is in need of that mode to fulfill his job. Respect that, and keep playing Tanki!

I agree with Tommy. That will totally remove the above problem, and make spectator mode an advantage not an abuse.
