I was unable to enter Test Server today, which is a shame because I wanted to test the new features for any problems...but it seems it will be open again tomorrow; the same time, I presume?

 

Try to keep it open a bit longer :lol:

I got back from school at around 4PM I heard the testserver closed at around the same time -.-

Despite the fact that the test server could only accomodate a small part of the Tanki community, I would say that it was a great experience to play in the Control Points and checking out the new graphics :).

Am sure many will agree with me when i say words cant express the feeling.

 

I personaly liked:

1 the moving caterpillars on the tanks

2 the team work needed to win in control points

3 the soft particles that makes the explosions look more realistic

4 the fact that the game is easy on my comp

5 the shapes of the tanks are really awesome, especially the dictator and isida comdination in electra paint (simple beauty) even though I got feeling that the paints look a little big too faint.

 

So what do you guys think?

all the same but really like many tankmen i think that 2k paint aren't beautifull and also for needle the camouflage isn't as good as before :/

Of course the test server was up while I was at school so I did not get to play, but here is my opinion on the update.

I REALLY hate the look of the new weapons. Tanks are pretty good, I can live with it as long as they don't take away the blue lights at the front of m3's. I'm glad the isi healing is green although the gun itself is freaking ugly, along with all the rest.

Paints do not make the appearance of the tank anymore the color of your whole tank is not dependent on paint anymore but rather how much ugly gray splotches are puked on your tank from how much you've upgraded it.

Control points I'm sure is fun. Looks for really exciting gameplay.

I missed out too. I got home around 5 my time because of busing problems. Even without em, i would have missed it. I hope its open all day tomorrow so I can try! I think the guns and hulls both are ok. The grey is really annoying cuz it kills all the color. CP looks like a great time though. :wink:

Well, kudos for imagination...I really don't see the difference between a "drawing" and a "cartoon". My criticism stands.

But seriously...there is no difference, and I'm sure many can agree with me that "giving objects a clear appearance" is overrated when it comes to sacrificing detail.

I was kidding. Should expect you to know that. XD Anywho... I think he means that they needed get the hardware support to be changed so that almost all players computers will run the game smoother or something of that sort. Also, the translation of what he said may not be perfect, so there might be some errors.
