The new update isn't so bad but it definitely has major downsides. What I like the most about the update is of course the control points and the map designs. I think that a lot of work was put in to the map designs and they look wonderful. Some tanks look good not because of the heavy armor but because of the tiny blue lighting that some tanks have. But when you look at weapons, barely any of the specific weapon's can be distinguished from m0-m3 such as freeze, thunder or shaft. If only more lighting and less armor was added to both the tanks and weapons, it would be great. The lags are also a major problem. I've had 60FPS pretty constantly in the old tanki but now I keep having lags and lagging out. However I hope and believe the lags will be fixed soon. The maps and the supply design look very good but other things, not so much. I wonder how the old tanks would work with the new maps. :D

The game takes so long to load, because the servers are still loading the new textures for the first time.

Be patient, soon the loading time will become much shorter, and there won't be so many lags too.

G, this is normal.The servers need some time to 'recover'.

I believe that after 2-3 hours everything will go back to normal.

That is a "lag"... try using another browser or cleaning your cache...
