When pictures if 2.0's graphics were published, everyone was excited and was looking forward to the new version. Now, when the new graphics, similar to what was published before, are applied, people hate it. Isn't it strange?

too blind 2 see that tanki 2 picts and videos were so different to current one in "game" apart from this fact the lags are hard "game" is unplayable, so free market rule if you don't like it u can play world of tanks

ohhhhh please give us back our old graphics ='( i know people they stop paying cause they don t like the new game :( this is nice but this isn' t the tanki we were loyal and we loved ;( can you do some of the server where you store the old graphics?

I said in an earlier post that I gave this update 8.5 out of 10. After playing a bit of Polygon with soft particles and shadows on, I would like to change that to 10 out of 10.

 

There is only one little thing I think needs to be changed and that is the tank graphics. If the contrast was turned down by 10 to 15%, they would blend in much better with the map graphics.

 

I'm not experiencing any lag, and the loading time isn't much different. I'm very pleased with this update. I also haven't noticed loads of people leaving, and it is definitely not just for kids.

 

The artists and programers of this great game work really hard to bring us the best product they can so that we can have the best game to play. They are constantly trying new things to improve it for us. Unfortunately, it's not possible to please everyone.

Control points

 

Today you can experience changes in the battle. The thing is that everyone is already playing in a brand new team game mode - "Control Points", which is now available, along with the 1.100.0 release. I will just say about this mode - "as words can not express the experience", right?

 

 

Let's start with the fact that "control points" is not yet available on all maps, as it was for the other modes. At the moment you can find the button to the battle in the following maps:

- Sandbox - 1 points

- Wave - 1 points

- Monte-Carlo - 3 points

- Barda - 3 points

- Iran - 4 points

- Bridges - 5 points

- Kungur - 5 points

- Brest - 7 points

 

When you create a map with the "control points" as the selected mode you can control two parameters: the duration of the round and the "Team score" needed to defeat the opposing team. If all concerning the time is clear, we will discuss the "team score" in detail. The essence of the team battle is the need to keep under control as much key points as possible on a given map. For each captured point your team will receive one point every ten seconds. Thus, the winning team is that which manages to score the most number of points in the allocated time, if in the settings of the battle time was a factor. Lets hope you enjoy it.

 

 

Updated graphics

 

Now the masters of "brushes and paints" are present to you their updated "Tanki Online" graphics.

 

 

This grand event offers you a whole new field of battle. But do not think that the maps and tanks have changed beyond recognition. This is absolutely not true.

You can easily distinguish any gun and hull, even paints too.

The game has become more pleasant in appearance, since the goal was initially to redesign and to get rid of excess "noise" in the textures.

The color scheme was chosen so as not to irritate the eyes during prolonged viewing. All sets of textures for gaming maps were redrawn and made fresh.

 

Additionally, all the tips that you can see when loading the game have been upgraded. By the way, there are new tips that will be useful to beginners.

Of course, we also changed the appearance of the garage, where you can see your tank, and all the previews, which can be seen when creating a battle.

A wonderful addition to the new schedule will be the fog effect, which can now be seen in all the maps. We also added to the game system of "soft particles" of which you have heard in the Tanki Online news blog. Look for this option in the game settings (it off by default).
