Respawning as a "Ghost Tank"

I'm in the middle of a long battle and have racked up a lot of points. My tank blows up (as it has several times during the battle), but this time I respawn as a "Ghost Tank." I look real enough and so does everyone else. I shoot at the other team and nothing happens...they don't shoot back nor do they blow up. I try to pick up a package, but can't. I can push the other tanks around, too. In one match, where this happened, I pushed three enemy tanks into a ditch. :D I tried the battle chat. The chat box came up, I typed out a message, hit "enter" but the message did not show up on the screen. As I was roaming around, I noticed tanks and turrets going around in circles.

 

After a minute or so, I committed suicide, thinking this would bring me back to solidity, but it did not. I still respawned as a Ghost Tank. I had no other choice but to leave the battle. I clicked on "garage" and went right to it. I was also able to join another battle without any problems. In one battle, I was "booted" out with a message, "Foul play detected. You were removed from the game." There was no foul play on my part. I guess I just didn't leave the battle fast enough.

 

This phenomenon has happened several times. Does anyone knows what causes it and what to do to prevent it from happening again.

Unfortunatley this doesn’t depend from Tanki servers, but from the European connection to and from Russia. There’s nothing developers can do about this. This is why Russian players are not facing the problem, and they are still playing even if you need to refresh the page.

Thanks for the information. I was afraid it was a problem with my computer. I hate it when I lose nearly 1K points.

Yeah, this is the kind of internet lag in the game that I hate the most. Refreshing the page usually works to fix it and you wont lose all your points. :-)

Never thought about refreshing. I will remain in battle and not lose my points. Hmmmmm. Nice to know. Thanks for the tip.

Agree, it is internet lag,

 

it happens a few times during big fights, especially on large map with 40 players.

 

refresh the page to quickly go back to normal battle, so can help ur team out.

So this means this is a russian game and we dont care about the Euros and Dollars spend from outside russia as long we russians can play fine... just deal with it and pay more?

Sorry this is a lame excuse and it should be very much in tankionlines concern that people from all over the world are able to play their games, else they might lose sooner or later 1/4 of their income and players...

European connection means the problem is in germany not in russia. Can you explain me how they can fix it, if the problem is on the servers of a german private company?

Yup i keep getting spinning tanks too. Now i cant play silence and fort knox 2 coz of that. I play for abt 2 mins and boom everyone starts spinning and grabbing supplies or flags or trying to kill people doesnt work. Pressing Del will just have that skull thingy blinking for eternity. Really annoying and I have to stick to smaller maps like combe or sandbox. Sad to know there isnt a fix except moving to russia

These reactions happen due to lag. It is recommended to take a picture once in a while of the battle with all the players in it so you can get a refund in case of disconnection.
