I agree in grieving for those who lost their lives that day, not only in the towers, but also in the planes.

However, not all of them were, as you said, "Brave souls." Many people in the World Trade Center died instantly after the first and second planes hit the building. No bravery was needed to do that. The courageous ones were those who tried to help people out of the Center, and the people who hijacked the hijacked plane, and crashed it into a field in Pennsylvania.

R.I.P

Oh man, I remember that day when I was a little kid heading out to school and glancing at the news to see them two big towers burning and seeing one of the planes crashing in. Even at school, we spent practically the whole day watching the television... I think I was in 2nd grade at the time.

:( rest in peace.

Want to see something scary?

Take microsoft word,

then type in Q33 NY in CAPITAL [block] letters.[that was the first plane which crashed into the world trade centre]

Change the text size to 48.

CHANGE THE FONT OF THE WHOLE TO Wingdings

See the horror. Rest in peace. TO all who died.

I had to make a poem for class

but the poem was more from the heart than for class.

The teacher said I had the best in the class, everyone cried afterward.

I would like to present it to you

SOME THREE THOUSAND PEOPLE

A 9/11 Memorial Poem By Richard Scott

It was a normal day,

In the City of New York

When four planes were hijacked,

And became berserk.

Two planes from Boston

Slammed into the towers,

As another one hit the Pentagon

In the following hours.

One flight got lucky,

As they tried to fight back,

They slammed into a field,

Like a board to a tack

As the smoke cleared,

And the end became near,

Some 3000 people had died,

And some glazed with fear.

Screams roared through the streets;

Some running for help,

With the crying of children

And the dogs who just yelped.

Some comfort was given

But some was not

As seats became empty

And families a lot

Some lost a father,

A sister, a brother,

A mother, or cousin,

Or a significant other.

On September 11,

2011

A memorial was given

To the ones who had risen

So remember the day

September 11

For all the innocent lives

Who surely went to Heaven.

Rest in Peace

fellow Americans
