Solution for Disconnection Problems

Recommended Posts

Yes mods, I know this isn't a complaint. I placed it here hoping more players with problems would see it. Feel free to ban me if you like.

If your game lags out (spinning tanks/turrets, tanks continue driving, etc.) wait 10-15 seconds. In my experience, if things don't return to normal in that time, there's about a 95% chance they never will. Do not wait to be disconnected. After the 10-15 seconds wait, copy the battle's URL into a new browser tab and go. You'll lose a bit of time, but you'll keep your score. Doing this has solved all my problems, I hope it helps someone else.

You are right - usually the lags disappear after some time.Yeah, wait 10-15 seconds.

But I think if after those 15-20 seconds, the lags don't disappear, you shouldn't copy the battle url, and paste it in a new tab - just refresh the main tab. It's easier.

The only concern I have with doing it your way is that when you refresh, you've left the game. If it takes a couple seconds to reconnect, and the game is full, wouldn't you lose your place in the game if someone else joins before you do? Doing it my way the server closes the connection in the lagged out tab, and the new tab puts you back in the game. You never actually leave.
