The display drivers are, in short, small programs that help the graphics card do its job...

The drivers are the connection between the hardware (graphics card), and the screen (games/videos, everything).

Your message says that there is a problem with the drivers - so you should update them/clean-install them.

Mine is 6 years old and is still great.

Well, I've replaced some parts...But the box is the same! :XD:

+1 I have fiends with 10 year old computers, now that's ancient

As a matter of fact technical parameters of PCs vary a lot throughout the years (especially laptops, like mine). So, captain, your comp probably has 8 times more superior rivals today...

Oh man...

I see your graphics card is Intel - then click on the link, select graphics drivers, model of your card, etc., then download the drivers and install them...

If you can't, let your dad do it.

i know how to download and install, but idk how to open the box!!

actually I've had a similair problem too.

The screen turned black constantly, I needed to turn it on the whole time.

It was 6 years old... you know what I'm talking about; these big white boxy screens that will turn yellow over time.

Who said you have to open it?Right-click on Desktop->Properties->Display->You see the name/model of the card.

Don't download drivers before checking the card model, it will be pointless, they won't work.

Just buy new computer. :P
