Im fairly new here. just a peasant MSG. I just wanted to get peoples take on a few things.

 

1) When an opponent us upside down, with no chance to get upright, is it ok to kill that tank?

I personally don't, because if they dont know how to self destruct, to me its just one less threat on the map.

 

2) When entering a game in progress, (particularly capture the flag), Is it bad form to try to take the flag if I think I could get away with it, or do I give everyone

a chance?

I have a slow, heavy armored tank, so I think I serve best in a defensive, or support role.

You are right, with a slow and heavily armored tank you may do best defending or "busting through" the enemy lines.

 

For a so called "peasant" youre really good.

I posed this question a year ago. It's still relevant. In addition do you guys think it's fair to participate in battles where the sides are not equal?

A lot of things happened since you first made this topic. I think that the best thing to do in these battles, is just to wait until others will join. If you start capturing flags, then others will never start to join.

I for one don't usually kill overturned tanks, EXCEPT if i was the one to flip them, AND if they are annoying me like snipers.

Anyway, if it's in a CTF - leave the upside down guy, one less threat inside the base.

 

If it's a TDM, then kill him, it will help you for the points. 

 

Well, if your team plays really really good, and I mean without trolls, you can give flags to your teammates halfway, and then go back to base for the new one - that way you can capture a lot quick. 

 

It depends on your weapon and your style - Like to drug? Like to snipe? Like to counter-attack? Think what you like to do best - and what suits you ;)

A flipped opponent is a POW and should be treated in accordance with the Geneva Conventions. :) 

If u kill him he will respawn with full health and kill u as you grab the opponents flag. :rolleyes:
