I want to become a chat mod because i speak french and also a fluently english, so I sended applications here and sended a PM to bruce luga with the following message

8. Why do you want to become a moderator?

 

Because i speak french and there isn't any french moderator and french community can't stop insulting each other and cheating. I want to punish them. I also speak fluently english because my mother is english.I also want to become one because the complaint part isn't everyday "cleared" and many complaint aren't heard :( .

 

9. Information about yourself

 

I am pretty good at school and I play Tanki Online for almost a year :-) . I like making new friend in TO but at the beginning I didn't knew the rules and got banned many times :/ I love airplanes, take flying lesson, practice gymnastics twice a week, and play saxo all days of the week.

First, Bruce doesn't read PMs, because he has thousands of them...

When he comes back, I can ask him to check your application, but:

 

It's almost sure that after you created this topic you won't become a Mod.

And, if you are under 21 - no chance.It's true.Sorry.

zygger is temporarily absent.That's not written in the English Staff topic, since Bruce isn't here, and there is no one to write it.But it's written in the Russian Staff topic.

 

So I made this topic to be sure they read my message.

If you decided to apply for a Moderator, you should at least know all Rules and FAQs.Tell me, in the 'FAQ How to become a Mod', where is written that if you don't get a response, you should create a Forum topic?

Now, even if you send this application to someone else, even if they read it, you will get rejected.Because you are under 21, and because you created this topic.And

the TankiOnline Administration is not obliged to give a reason for refusal.

Also one that applies for a Moderator should know the difference between a Moderator and a Consultant.

I am a Consultant.Nick is also a Consultant.

You first talk about Moderators, then you post the Consultant application form...Do you even know what you're doing? :mrgreen:

Moderators must be 21+.There is only one (the first English Mod) that is under 18.But at this time (2010) they needed Mods, because there weren't any - so they were accepting people that are under 21.But now they aren't doing this.

Consultants must be 18+.But since we don't have many people on this job, there are some exceptions.But I think '14/soon 15 years old' is a too low age...

Also to become 1 of the 2 (Consult/Mod) you have to be really active on Forum, always help, etc., etc....

 

Conclusion:

You can always fill the Consultants application form, and send it to Nick/Husto/me/wertweuri.

But after all it's pointless to send the Mods application form again.Wait till you become 19-20 years old, then try again.You may have a chance.
