I have enjoyed playing many battles in the past, but I think the time has come to leave. It has become almost impossible to play the game... Over the last few weeks it has been very difficult to connect to the main log in page. I get the message 'connection closed by server'. I have to try about 10 times, then maybe if I am lucky I can connect. Sometimes the battle starts to load, then I am disconnected again !

 

There are other problems also - the dreaded CPU at 100% when using flash !! Of course, there is bad lag and freezing which means I can't help my friends in battle. A few months ago I went through my entire system, disabling services that were not necessary, running Auslogics Speed Boost, scanning for virus etc. I was able to improve reliability, but lag became a problem again.

 

I was able to improve lag by playing the game in safe mode, but recently the lag and freezing became a problem again. I did a full system re-install, updated drivers and tried again in safe mode, but the problem is still there... There are many people having difficulty with CPU at 100% when using flash, and Adobe are very much aware of this issue, but seem unable to come up with an answer. I think flash is the main culprit here...

 

Today, I have a new problem - 'error occurred in SQL' It stopped me from logging in several times.

I have spent much of my time trying to work through all these problems, but I have finally admitted defeat. I hope that in the future things will improve, and then I will be back again :)

Sorry to see you leave. I did all the things tanki and everyone else I trusted said to do. But for several weeks a could only play Sandbox. Finally went to a computer shop they cleaned, tweeked and upgraded my computer and bam it works now. It cost me $110.00 but it was worth every bit of the money. That was a lot cheaper than buying a new computer. Dude you may try that -- a good company can tell you how much an upgrade will improve your performance. Hope this has helped you and maybe some others. :):):):)
