If I went through every dead map, I wouldn't be able to fit it into an article. I just did four maps which used to be alive, but now are dead. I'll do four more next issue.

I know this doesnt fits here, but TDM is pretty much dead, usally you see only 1 TDM map.

 

About garder, i have played once in and i was dominating with m3 twins and viking! But you never see it again

Scince January, many of the maps you listed in your RIP maps have made a return. Tribute has, Fort Knox has and so has massacre. although I do hear massacre now has no ctf. higland came back, but it was slightly changed.

Massacre does have CTF.... and it's great to see all of the maps return, albeit not to their former pomp. The times when Tribute, FK, Massacre and Highland were 4 of the Top 5 maps are no longer.

I remember to play a perfect Highland DM when I was a WO4. No one teamed up. I won it, a 100-kill match! Oh well, massacre. When I first played on it, I was like.." DAFUQ!? What is their flag doing in our base?" Until I asked and those higher-ranked told me. :lol:

I played a lot Hill with Ricochet (I think the big update who decreases his power has a part of responsability in the death of this map :/ ). Edinburgh was also my favourite map when i began, and Massacre was very funny because of the position of the flag, you had to make new tactic. i hope so much it will come back at his old configuration.

There are so many maps but only a few of them are played. I cross all the servers to found maps that I don't play a lot :).

My rank is currently to low to play map Massacre, but i played it on test server and now i can't wait to play it on real server

 

And Highland is awesome map. my viking+freeze combo is great for that map and lot of crystals fall in the center. it's a shame that people don't play it more
