Tanki on Nexus 7?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get tanki to work on android, but tanki will play horribly on the nexus 7 because the speed is spilt up over 4 cores and flash cannot multi thread, (blame adobe), i may be wrong though.

Yes tanki is porting to android but they don't tell us much about it.

Nexus 7 does not have flash -> jelly beans.

But you can download apk from adobe

Some things such as the IPad Don't need Flash Player. Simply Download "Puffin Web Browser" And this Goes Straight to the game without receiving the notice that you don't have flash player. So therefor letting you play on Flash Player games such as Tanki Online. Although it is Really Laggy.

I've got my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but it still doesn't get past login screen for some reason. It's got adobe flash, and runs Ice Cream Sandwich. I can upgrade to Jelly Bean, but don't know if I should just yet.

This has been covered many times before in this forum yet people fail to search before posting or are ignorant. You may be able to get some elements of tanki to work on some flash enabled phones/tablets but there will be NO mobile version of tanki on the flash platform. The reason being that Adobe have discontinued development for flash for mobile devices and they did this about a year ago. There will be NO new flash updates for android/windows or any other mobile platform. I cannot see the tanki devs recoding the whole game in a new format just so you can play it on an inferior sized screen. Case Closed! Continue to carry on this discussion but to be honest.... it will be fruitless!
