How does it feel like to miss a gold box when you are just near...?

Few mins ago i was playing a match in 'Gravity',2 mins were left. We were leading by 3-1 flags, i was at the top of the table in my team with over 500 points with a difference of more than 100 points from the guy at 2nd. I knew i will win most of the crystals.

 

But then this happened :

 

I just had to climb down one ramp and that's it but someone shot me and it was too late when i pressed '1'.

 

Few days ago, I was standing near the ramp of blue team in 'Silence 2', one more tank was there. I pressed enter to write message in battle chat and there you go GOLD BOX fell in front of me and i was writing a message. That guy took the gold box which was just a few cms away from me. I was in shock.

 

Such kind of things really hurt. have you ever had such kind of experience with gold box?

Bad luck man...

An advice from me - you have luck when you do good things, i.e. do what you have to do, work, be polite to other people, etc.Then you have luck. (tested tactic :P)

Yes, I was in a Silence CTF match with a fund of somewhere around 560. It was 2-3 and the other team was winning, but one of our players had taken the flag. There was about 30 seconds left and we were trying to bring it back.

I was at the ramp on the right (the blue teams right) I was drugging and killing all of the tanks trying to return their flag. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a goldbox falling, I tried to use 1 but I had already used it and it was still recharging.

I was about 2 feet away from it and I died because of a drugging Rico (who ended up getting the gold). Sooo Annoying. :(

I hate that situation; it only happened once... a railer failer shot me.

They often only waste my health; but at that time ofcourse I had so little health and pressed 1 to late.

I always try to tell them to turn their turret, if they don't respond I translate it to Russian, but it hardly ever helps.. Those noobs are freaking me out some times. They are just ridiculous. I wonder who is steering those tanks...;p

 

And Raphael, splitt wasn't a noob, I can tell from the video. Having him in your team wouldn't be a waste.

today a gold box fell in front of a isida but i used nitro and pushed him away and i got the gold in silence....

To balance this thread out I'm gonna tell you about a good luck I've had. I joined a winning team on island map. The fund was at 150. It was 5 flags til the end. I get some kills and captured one flag. Got some points and do my best. All of a sudden the leader on our team disconnects. He comes back a couple seconds later, but doesnt get his points back. I'm checking the score table, waiting for him to get the points he had, but it doesnt happen. The goldbox falls in the mean time and he gets it. The match ends with us winning and I leave with 118 crystals :)

Remined me of the time, when I had Viking M2 - there was guy with Green, Shaft M0 and Hornet M0 and he got the gold box only cuz he was faster - so not fair!
